Oh jesus, I forgot about the quotes in Jedi Knight. I had demo discs of Jedi Knight II and the expansion MoTS as a young lad, and I just played through them for nostalgia a while back. I'm still working my way through MoTS, but those stormtroopers... Every level on the demo discs featured stormtroopers as the only enemies.
I've been hearing the following for something like 11 years, if not more:
-"That's one less rebel"
-"This blaster's not full!"/"Set blasters on full!" (could never really figure that one out)
-"Did you hear something?"
-"*exclamation of pain*"/"*Death sounds*" (both imperial and rebel)
-"IMPERIAL TROOPS HAVE ENTERED THE BASE!" x2
-"You're not authorized in this area!"
-"There he is! Stop him!"
-"OOOOOoouhhahhhuhh" *Clattering* (I secretly love the sound they used for stormtrooper armor hitting the ground, it sounds like they're made of plastic)
-"He won't be giving us any more trouble..."


And don't even get me started on X-Wing. I made a blood pact with the techno-demon inhabiting my desktop to get this thing to run on Windows 7, and I have a habit of hitting the "Assign target to wingmen" key several times when I REALLY want something dead. If I've got more than one wingman, I hear the phrase "Roger, using designated target" something like 500 times within 30 seconds.

How, how, HOW?! How did you get X-wing or X-Wing/Tie Fighter to run on more modern software? I would love to get my copy running again! I miss it
