Oh wow I hope the succeed, watching all the people who can't go five minutes without updating their statuses freak out should be very very entertaining.

Well, the only reason I joined Facebook was so I could comment on this site for stuff like ExtraCredits. Anonymous, good luck.

Good luck with that anonymous. I'm pretty sure you're not even big enough to take out facebook.
You'd be surprised to find out how big Anonymous is, but I don't think its about their size rather than the way they operate and the skills of the individuals behind it.

There are anons doing good stuff; these aren't one of them.

I can't seem to remember, is Facebook the one where everyone and their grandma updates their page with their every slightest action at every opportunity regardless of the chances anyone gives a damn, or was it the "spy on your friends" one? Either way, I don't see much harm done if Anon succeeds.

Here's an idea: Everyone send Anonymous a friend request, then maybe they won't act like such twats.

I suppose you're also going to try telling me that emo kids announced a plan to invade Chinatown.

Anonymous is not an organisation. It's not a unified group. It's an idea. Which is every bit as powerful- if not more so- but not capable of manifesting itself in a way that puts it in any position to make threats and warnings.

Still, I can dream.
If Facebook did go down my biggest regret would be that I don't have some other way of watching the backlash.

Have they really got nothing else to do? What would the point of this be, exactly?

Dear Anonymous.
Go fuck yourself. You think I'm totally fucking ignorant? You think I don't know what facebook does with my information? I'm a big boy now, I'm responsible if I don't read the terms and conditions.

Meh, the only thing I care about on facebook is pictures of me. And I've already downloaded all of them to my PC, so I'm cool.

Go on Anonymous. Make daddy proud!

Shhhh! Don't issue them a challenge! That's how bad things get started!
I thought it was just the late LOLzsec who rose to challenges like that...I guess any group could...

I joined Facebook to keep in touch with a couple of people from high school and a few family members. I wouldn't really mind though, if Facebook was taken down. I've had and deleted a few accounts and am really not fussed over it.

I've said this on many a thread here, but the good, freedom-loving anon all left a long time ago. The ones now are all a nuch of silly little misfits and children who think they're tough because of the anonymity of the internet. They would never say or do the things they do if they had to take credit for it. Look at the past, whenever a member of anon does something bad, they claim he was a member of some fringe group or was never really one of them yet they're the first ones to take credit for whatever good they might have accidentally done. They're a bunch of immature little kids with nothing better to do than annoy people and make false threats.

Hey, that's the day after my birthday.

Well, I'm really, really tired of these people who think corporation is a synonym for corrupt and evil, and that causing a small inconvenience can somehow change the world. The only thing they'll get out of this is attention, and more hate from the (few) people with common sense.
