"This will be your future" - From that website's image
Doesn't anyone find that a bit hypocritical? When keeping within the lines of the anti-tyranny theme, it's like saying "We are not tyrants, now, get in the mines".
Anyhow the whole idea behind Annonymous is preposterous, much like anarchy, eventually leaders will (If they haven't already) form within the community and they become the very thing they opposed in the first place, an organised society with defined leaders and elites, people with more power behind their words than others, even if they are hidden behind a facade.
And as for the social network itself, a social network of anonymous people would just be like a forum, with easily directed public trolling of individuals allowed.
It could only work as a propper social network if the people in it identified themselves, throwing the whole anonymous thing out the window.
Bottom line is, in my opinion, like communism, it's a good idea in theory, but in practice... I guess we shall see.
To be honest I'm more afraid of the community of Anonymous than our supposed tyranical rulers. At least they're predictable and have to follow protocol.
