Red headed tan girls for the win.Huh, lost her tan.
That's a shame
I think "sex" might be the least of the problems with a game called "Sex with Hitler"That is why some indie devs are taking EGS money, no one wants to see a sex game trending on the storefront.
I dunno about Kotaku themselves, but their twitter acc delivers some good shots from time to timeContrary to popular opinion, Kotaku *does* have a sense of humor.
Though that might have to go in the hot takes thread
You must love really putting your foot in your mouth, don't you? Then there is this article which complains about the ever increasing size of some Guilty Gear character's tits. Though in the article it isn't really clear that the character's bust is ever increasing to me. The artist drawing the character is updating the look overall. If anything it does look like her "features" are more detailed, but not particularly bigger in the grand scheme of things.
Yep.Though getting a window to her boobs, have been there since the beginning. The only difference is her ballistics were of actual realistic proportions. I like Baiken, but if they wanted to give her bigger sex appeal, the chest size increase was not needed. They included images for a reason.

Giovanna fills that roll now. Though her skin is darker than a tan. Also, I remember when Dante had a slight tan in DMC1&2. Capcom dropped that aspect of him from 3 and onward.Red headed tan girls for the win.

Bland, blatant pandering. Which is fine if you're into that sort of thingAnd the problem is?
So it's okay then. No problem.Bland, blatant pandering. Which is fine if you're into that sort of thing
That's what most of these threads are, at the brass tacks level: "I am now going to complain about other people not liking a thing"So it's okay then. No problem.
Good I guess that's /thread then.
You might as well be eating your own toes at this point. And the problem is?
Not that I'm defending Arc System, but the first game really does reek of early installment weirdness. If you look at the artwork for the sequels and updates to the 2D games, she got paler each time. Not to mention, there was a good amount of radical designs in future sequels and later iterations and updates for a good amount of characters. It still would have been nice though. At least there's color swaps. Also, you got 2 hot dark skin babes in Strive. One that wears booty shorts, and has toeless socks. I think everyone will manage just fine. That's what most of these threads are, at the brass tacks level: "I am now going to complain about other people not liking a thing"
Like:
Dev 1: "How do we revamp Baiken's design?"
Dev 2: "Whiter and more booba"
Dev 1: "Brilliant!"
I'm not a sociologist but that's sad. But hey: at least they aren't sexualizing a kid.
As a rule, yes. The stereotypical male scientist in fiction is an old guy who either wears a suit with leather patches on the sleeves and smokes a pipe, or has Einstein hair. The stereotypical female scientist is some 20-30 years younger and could have been a model.Question, can it be that not only in video games but in films and shows, too, women sort of have to be attractive more often than men? Just thought about a comment on Star Trek TNG, the male admirals could be fat, but the female ones, while at least older, apparently could not.

That sucks so hard and I don't know why Sega did that. For the Virtual Fighter 5 remake, they do make her skin slightly darker again. At least darker than the original iteration of 5 anyway. Dead or Alive 6 did the same thing with Lisa Hamilton. And she's not even really playable in that one. She didn't get it as bad as Vanessa, but it's still annoying. What the hell Team Ninja? What the hell are you guys trying to appeal to, the KKK and Mainland China? That goes for you too Sega. At least Capcom bothers to keep their ladies that are dark skinned or black, keep them that way. Namco as well.Speaking to tan loss I still believe Vanessa from Vitura Fighter got skin bleached after 4 and no one will tell me otherwise.
Maybe they just got really sick for a while like Birdie from Street Fighter. That sucks so hard and I don't know why Sega did that. Birdie is like the reverse. Started white, and then turned black. Capcom has weird habit of doing that too. Morrison from the DMC Anime went from old blonde white guy to old black bald dude in DMC5. The main reason they did that is so they can have an equivalent to Rodin from Bayonetta.Maybe they just got really sick for a while like Birdie from Street Fighter.
Dude, get over yourself. That was going to be her original outfit in OG RE3, but changed to mini skirt for rule of sexy. I like the mini skirt outfit, but I do not mind a change up. Plus, it's nice callback for ideas they did not get to use. At players get the skirt as an option (through DLC or pre-order). If you have the PC version, start downloading fan mods that have the more accurate costume.I find it funny that they can give Jill D size breasts but putting her in a skirt again or something other than the standard, safe jeans and tank top is a giant no-no. Such an uninteresting look.

The "classic" outfit (now with a skort) wasn't well updated and is very out of place within the photorealism.
Older Than They Think:
- Jill's new default tank top and jeans outfit appears to be lifted from a beta version◊ of the original game's intro.
Who cares if that was one of the original concept versions? They should have gone with something else after dressing Claire in a tank top and jeans in RE2 only a year before.Dude, get over yourself. Resident Evil 3 (Remake) / YMMV - TV Tropes
YMMV for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Alternative Character Interpretation: When the zombified Brad says "sorry" to Marvin, was that the real Brad talking in a brief moment of lucidity, or just the zombie mindlessly parroting the last thing it …tvtropes.org
Capcom does, and most sensible RE fans that don't get hung up on dumb shit. I certainly don't mind.Who cares if that was one of the original concept versions?
You mean something else in terms clothing? Or a different character? Sounds like grammar trouble. They should have gone with someone else
Also, Claire's tank top and coat outfit was another concept they had, but did not get put in the original RE2.They should have gone with someone else after dressing Claire in a tank top and jeans in RE2 only a year before.
