This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

If you know the answer shout it out, but only if you have one to put after.

Time.

One Time When I Was Walking To St. Ives.
I Met A Man With Seven Wives.
Each Wife Had Seven Sacks.
Each Sack Had Seven Cats.
How Many Were Going To St. Ives?

Time? Assuming yes.

He who makes me doesn't want me.
He who buy me doesn't need me.
He who needs me never sees me.
What am I?

It depends on how fast you were walking and the destination of those you met. This one always bothered me, I meet people as I'm going places who happen to be going to the same place all the time. And with all those sacks full of cats they're probably walking pretty slowly.

Halfway, then he would be running out

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt
it lies behind stars and under hills
And empty holes it fills
It comes first follows after
Ends life, kills laughter

How far can a dog run into a forest?
Half way, then it's running out.

A chest with not lock nor hinge nor key yet withing me golden treasure be.
Eggs

1 man...you

Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking

I think the answer is 1, you. You didn't say anything about the wives were going to St. Ives

The answer is either time or nothing.
What works when you throw it away? (It has multiple answers)
A grenade?

Two halves have I, though together I'm one. The less you move me, the faster I run. What am I?

Time or water.

I go with water as the moon has no water and its mountains have remained the same for billions of years. Just my guess.

EDIT: DAMN too late, but at least I have the first original response.

I kill gods and the devil too;
No one is safe from me.
From prisoner to demi-god,
I've come a long way.
I use tools in a most ironic way,
destroying, not creating.
Who am I?

This will be hard
