Actually...no. But by nature the topics that come up tend to be more serious than "A whirlpool attacks you on the street wielding a person: Do you save your dog or your Bacon?" threads, so SOME posters tend to be...touchy. Moreover the subjects are deep and semantics are routinely parsed for clarity's sake.
On the plus side I'm being forced--in order to do my job well I have to READ everything--to learn a lot about a lot: Including what posters from dozens of different backgrounds living all over the world think and view about subjects I scarcely thought much about.
