"Whilst I really hate to play devil's advocate on this situation Lithian, [...] she's too much of an altruist to give up. Let?s at least get our gear back and see what we can do to help."

She glared at Dante for a moment or two, before letting her head droop with a sigh, while her hand came off Dante's shoulder, and lightly cuffed him in the side of the head. "Damn you." She muttered. "Damn you, you asshole...I hate it when you're right." Taking a step back, her arms dropped to her sides. "Well let's get to it then."

"Well let's get to it then." Lith said after calling Dante an asshole, a move he was sort of expecting given her attitude at the time. Dante let out a small sigh of regret, like Lith, he wanted to leave as well, but now wasn't right time, things were too chaotic at the moment to do anything like a getaway.

"I'm sorry." Was all he said before turning towards the Terminator who had been standing opposite them.

"Sergeant Momaru, will you be joining us?"

"I shall be staying here Psyker. For I have an important duty to protect Lady Sana, and I shall not abandon it; not even to go kill daemons."

"But you're unarmed!"

"I shall manage. Now go! Before your Inquisitor is lost. May the Emperor be with you."

"And you as well. Alright, let's move." The three of them then left the holding cells, and headed towards the armoury.

Arriving at the barracks Helena was greeted by the rest of her squad. Most of them were half-way out of their armor, getting ready to get what rest they could before they were deployed again. Helena chose an empty cot and sighed. Now that she had a chance to rest, she felt tired. She released the seals on her armor, letting her chest plate fall onto the cot. Soon she was left in nothing but the bodysuit she wore under armor. The armor was stacked in a neat pile just beside the cot. She rubbed the wrist that ended her prosthetic hand. Most of her enhancements ached. She laid back on the cot and closed her eye, hoping to get a few hours rest. She wasn't surprised when the alarm went off. She bolted upright, as the warning came over the speaker system.

"CODE RED! Hostiles reported in Medicae lab Alpha and Interrogation block Six! Threat assumed Daemonic! Engage with extreme prejudice!" Helena scowled and began strapping her armor back on. What has that Witch done this time? She thought before yelling at her squad. "Get your asses in gear Sister's! Get to the Armory now and get your Bolter's! They'll need every shell down there now!" She called as she and her Sister's headed towards the armory.

Mara's eyes eased open, and she quickly shut them again and groaned. It felt like a Dreadnaught was trying to crush her skull. She looked around at the gore and dismembered limbs, barely registering anything. She heaved herself from the bed with another groan. What is going on? She thought looking around. She had no clue where she was. Last she knew that ***** Karr had left her to die and then she was punching the witch across the jaw.

She looked to the man in the corner and noticed his golden eyes. That isn't good. Probably what happened to us back on Driseadi. She didn't dare approach him. She didn't want to get sucked into another daemon's illusion. She turned from the man and crept towards the door. I am in no shape to combat whatever did this. I need to get out of here and find something to defend myself with. She thought peering out the doorway. She didn't want to bump into whatever did this.

"Sweet, more 'playmates' for me then" Urd said to the Terminator as she put her helm back on and exited the cell with Lith and Dante and made her way with them to the armory. "So, beside being a group of particularly stupid Deamons, who you think these brain downers are with?" she asked on the way.

The group suddenly found themselves overcome with that familiar uneasy feeling, as none of them had noticed join them, but now had the eldar running with them briefly. "Solara has told me to relay to you that the evesor is to be brought with you, his strength and combat skills are needed. This... Thing is now far more dangerous than any marine she could encounter and there's still two others afflicted with the same kind of warp signatures, but their condition is unknown. " explained Titania as she ran with the group, helping direct them to their weapons.

Solara had just finished messaging Titania as stood her ground for a second before another pulse of warp sickness hit her, causing her to start coughing as she tried to regain herself. "Fuck... You.." She said and crated shields infront of the... Thing to keep it away. After she composed herself, solara let her power flare up and become a bright sun on the station, more so than the planet below. She built power up in her fist, the charged the creature.

The thing turned in its insanity to her and began to charge as well, only to run into the shield and was forced to stop. As solara charged, she dropped down the shield and left the thing fall towards her. The inquistor's threw punch in a combination with super human strength and warp lightning. The hit connected and sent the thing flying through the air and through a wall, not killing it but making contact hard.

That's when she saw sister Mara watching through the door. "Sister Mara... Listen, I need you to head down the hallway behind me. This is no place for an unarmed combatant. Get to my routine... They'll take care of you, and I'll need you to direct them to me as I don't know if I can handle this thing on my own." She said and gestured behind her as whatever that thing was began to get back up. "NOW!" She ordered and prepared barriers.

The group had been directed to a stocked imperial armoury. Though their actual gear would be nowhere to be found inside it there was enough weapons to arm a few platoons. After a moment of the door opening, a familiar group of sororitas arrived.

The maddened creature previously known as Rain stood from the ground and started altering her now clawed hands, making the claws themselves engulf her hands, making them thicker, longer, and sharper. Purple flames began to engulf her and upon regaining focus she charged at Solara. Grasping for her throat with one hand intending to choke her and attempting to impale her with the other.

"So, besides being a group of particularly stupid Deamons, who you think these brain downers are with?"

"Not sure...don't care." Lith grumbled. She knew Dante was right, but she still would've rather been making moves to get the hell out of here as opposed to helping these shit stains. Her mental bitching was cut short by a familiar, and unwelcome, sensation. "Fan-fucking-tastic."

"Solara has told me to relay to you that the Evesor is to be brought with you, his strength and combat skills are needed. This... Thing is now far more dangerous than any Marine she could encounter and there's still two others afflicted with the same kind of warp signatures, but their condition is unknown. "

"Hey bright eyes!" She snapped. "You have any idea where that thing is? It's not like they gave a fucking tour!" The Eldar seemed like she was about to say something, then just shook her head, and handed Lith a dataslate. "The Eversor has been contained here." Lith looked at the dataslate, and when she looked up again, the Harlequin had vanished. "Fuckin' knife-ears..."

Without breaking stride, Lith turned slightly, and tossed the dataslate to Dante. "See if you can figure out just how the hell we get to it..." She trailed off slightly as she spied the door to the Armoury. "...BINGO!"

As the three of them made headway towards the armoury, Dante suddenly came over with a slight dizzying sensation and had to stop, which could have only meant one thing, that the Eldar Harlequin Titania was nearby. And as luck would have it, seconds later, she had appeared.

"Solara has told me to relay to you that the Eversor is to be brought with you, his strength and combat skills are needed. This... thing is now far more dangerous than any marine she could encounter and there's still two others afflicted with the same kind of warp signatures, but their condition is unknown."

"Well isn't this just... dandy." Dante quietly muttered to himself as both Lith and Titania continued talking for a moment, before she vanished, the Harlequin handed Lith a data-slate.

"See if you can figure out just how the hell we get to it..." Lith remarked, trailing off slightly as she tossed the data-slate towards Dante, him catching it with the tip of his fingers. "...BINGO!" Lith cried out as she came across the armoury door, with which a few moments later, opened to reveal a familiar looking squadron of Sororitas. Dante meanwhile was busy looking through the information contained on the data-slate.

"Hate to break it to you Lith, but our stuff isn't stocked here; though I don't suppose they wouldn't mind if we borrowed some for the time being." He said with a slight smile, finding the thought to be a little amusing.

"From what I can gather off of this slate, we need to head further down this corridor on our left. There we will find a storage room for quarantined items and artifacts. But in order to access it, we'll need a pass-code, and as luck would have it, this slate has the key we require. As for our psychotic friend, he's currently being held in a medical quarantine and examination room, probably going under an enforced stasis period. Let's hope he isn't cranky when we wake him, wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his Neuro Gauntlet."

"Long as they have a suitable replacement for my axes I don't really care, a Power Sword is just as good as a Power Axe" Urd said, ignoring the SoB in the armory as she entered and bee lined for the melee weapons "We going to go and get Lara's new pet berserker, or split up, and get to Lara and the Eviscerator at the same time to give her back up?" 'Chain swords? no ... ooo a Thunder Hammer, nice, but to bulky for me ... ah, there we go.' Urd though as she searched for and found a pair of Power Swords. "Can't really say I like ether option given our 'allies' status is still questionable, I'd rather not be left shot in the back by some one who should have been watching it" Urd added this time, look directly at the Soroitas in the room.

"Hate to break it to you Lith, but our stuff isn't stocked here; though I don't suppose they wouldn't mind if we borrowed some for the time being."

She made a face when Dante pointed out what she'd been afraid of. "Well if the do mind, they're welcome to kiss my ass." She replied, flipping the Sisters an obscene hand gesture [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/66/Shocker_example.jpg]. Diving into the weapons stockpile she replaced her laspistol and chainsword, before appropriating a Godwyn-De'az Pattern bolter and as much ammo as she could get away with, as well as about half a dozen frag grenades.

"We going to go and get Lara's new pet berserker, or split up, and get to Lara and the Eviscerator at the same time to give her back up? Can't really say I like ether option given our 'allies' status is still questionable, I'd rather not be left shot in the back by someone who should have been watching it"

"As much as I'm loath to say it, I think out best bet is to split up." Lith replied. "You and Dante head for Lara riky-tik, while I go for the nutter."

Helena and her Sisters stepped into the armory not long after Solara's routine. Helena scowled, they had been let loose, but right now they had bigger things to worry about. "Ignore them sister's get your equipment and move!" She told them as they all grabbed weapon's. Most just grabbed Bolters. Two grabbed Flamers, Helena herself, with another sister grabbed a Heavy Bolter. Helena made a mental note of the whore's gesture. She would pay for that. Before they left the armory the door opened.

Mara whipped her head towards the sudden footsteps that came around the corner. "Sister Mara... Listen, I need you to head down the hallway behind me. This is no place for an unarmed combatant. Get to my routine... They'll take care of you, and I'll need you to direct them to me as I don't know if I can handle this thing on my own. NOW!" Mara stood for a second, her mind racing. The Witch, we had been sent to bring her back. Then we were trapped, and I died. She brought me back, back from the hell beyond death. She nodded and took off down the hall the Inquisitor indicated, her bare feet almost slipping among the blood and gore. The Armory, I need to find the armory, if they're anywhere they'll be there.

Moments later she ran through the door of the armory, breathing heavily. She looked at people now in the room, her Sister's. Karr. She glared at the older woman, noting the surprise on her face. "Sister!?" The older woman asked. Mara ignored her for now looking towards the Inquisitors routine. "Inquisitor's....in med-bay.....fighting daemon....alone....needs help. Now!" She said in between breath's.

"Well if the do mind, they're welcome to kiss my ass." Lith remarked, showing a rather obscene hand gesture towards the Sisters of Battles. Dante mentally face-palmed himself, it was as if Lithian was doing everything she could to anger them; which was probably what she had in mind. "Ignore them sister's get your equipment and move!" Ordered Helena Karr as her squad was busy gearing up.

"As much as I'm loath to say it, I think out best bet is to split up." Lith replied. "You and Dante head for Lara riky-tik, while I go for the nutter."

"You sure about that Lith? Would you want to go help Solara soon rather than later, given your-" Dante was interrupted mid sentence by the opening of the door, revealing the Sister Mara that had briefly been dead before resurrection by Solara, looking as though she was in distress, which given the situation, made a whole lot of sense.

"Inquisitor's....in med-bay.....fighting daemon....alone....needs help. Now!"

"A Daemon?! Emperor be with us, she'll be killed if we don't act fast. Sister Mara, get yourself geared up, then lead Urd to wherever it is that Lady Draco is currently at. Lith, you go get the Eversor. Meanwhile, I'll shall be going to that other armoury, and reclaim my spear; as I'll be of more use to the fight with it. Might see what other stuff of ours I can grab as well." Dante said, before grabbing a few items. Mainly a a Mark V "Wraithfire" Plasma Pistol, and a Mk. Xf "Hell's Teeth" Chainsword.

"Well, be seeing you soon." Dante remarked before heading off.

Urd gave Dante a look of 'you did not just say that' as he replied to Mara's report "If you see my Axes, make sure you grab em to!" she said as he headed off to reclaim his spear, before turning to Helena and her squad "You won't be needed in the Medical Bay, go occupy your selves with the other Daemons likely to be invading." She said dismissively as she waited for Mara to gear up so they could leave.

"...Lith, you go get the Eversor..."

"R-right..." She replied after a moment...this was for the best, Dante and Urd were both stronger fighters, they'd be much more use to Lara at the moment. Snagging the data-slate back from Dante, Lith took off down the corridor towards where the Eversor was being 'contained'. Why the fuck is this sack of crazy so important?

Egerion was growing more and more restless. Trapped in the hanger, there was little he could do but monitor the vox chatter, and grow more and more annoyed at his inability to assist.

Solara had to defend herself, throwing up a psychic barrier and blocking the incoming... thing... She shoved it back with simple thrust of the barrier and began to spark with electricity. She then unleashed two streams of trending lightning, the streams themselves tearing and slicing through the floor and into the lower deck as they swung upwards in an attempt to completely destroy the monster once and for all.

Helena fumed, how dare this woman order away as if she was just a girl. "Wrong." She spoke to this woman. Urd the man had said. "If you think I'm allowing the Inquisitor to be possessed by a daemon then you have less between your ears than one of the greenskins." She watched as Mara began to gather gear. "Besides, few are able to defeat a daemon alone, you'll have a better chance off saving her with help."

Mara nodded as she quickly scurried around the armory. Thankfully there was a set of Sororitas armor that mostly fit. She grabbed a bolter and a couple of grenades. She felt better as she pulled the armor on over the med-bay gown. It wouldn't be comfortable for long. But it would be enough until she had the chance to get proper gear. She heard Karr and the Inqusitor's follower arguing. That's not going to end well. She joined back with the group before the argument could go further. "Retributor, Madam Urd, now is not the time, we need to get to the Inquisitor before it's too late. For anyone. This way." She said as she dashed out the door and down the hall.

"And if you think for even a second I'm going trust anybody that'd rather just kill us then look at us to watch the backs of me or anyone in my squad, you got just as little between your ears. Besides, I ..."

"Retributor, Madam Urd, now is not the time, we need to get to the Inquisitor before it's too late. For anyone. This way." Mara interrupted Urd, be fore darting off down the hall, Urd just pulled the mask on her suit down and locked it in place. "I'll say it again; you aren't needed in the Medical Bay, so go 'save' those you've already judged to be worth keeping around." Urd repeated before dashing after Mara.

The entrance to the quarantined artifacts room was wide open, strewn around it was the dismembered corpses of inquisitorial shock troopers, a few still living were choking upon their own blood oblivious to the world beyond their fading life, mumbling prayers to the emperor hoping to come to his side in their end. The door to the room lay in shattered fragments on the ground broken like glass.

Inside the chamber was a series of equipment racks and runed boxes with objects sacred and profane locked within.

At the back of the room was an equipment locker, the door had been shattered like the door to the chamber. Inside beyond some of the parties equipment was a set of melta charges, it appeared that they had been rigged to go off if the room was breached but they appeared to be duds. Out of the explosive array, three were missing.

The equipment not in the locker (such as a certain singing spear) was on the weapon racks around the room.

The creature seemed to drop dead for a moment upon being struck with the lightning, burn wounds now across it's chest it stood up and screamed at Solara before disappearing from sight. After a few seconds it reappeared, Solara would notice that it now behind her had its hand wrapped around her neck, lifting her into the air. Choking her slightly before slamming her against the wall violently.

The eversor was held drugged in a large cage, interrupted in the work of handlers to put him into stasis by the panic from the comms he was left unguarded.

Solara took the hit and as she did, the warp began playing with her. She began coughing up blood before she felt herself surge with power. she felt the power surge up into her back and a massive pair of golden wings sprouted, cutting the thing's hand off. Then she found herself on her hands and knees across the room from it. She had felt herself leave real space and enter the warp, reappearing there.

Solara coughed out a blob of blackness, taint of warp that was even slightly impure or not holy. Standing up, she spread her wings and they cast golden light across the room, and she focused herself onto the.. thing. taking her hands, she spread them apart, then pulled them together, the walls around the monster closing in on it from both sides of it to hold it in place. then she raised one hand and lowered the other, before pulling them together. this time, they trapped the thing's form.

That's when solara held out her hand, focusing on a point in the middle of the thing's body. she began to generate a gravitational field and compress it, tearing apart the thing's inside before clenching her fist and exploding the compressed matter.

Following the directions on the slate, Lith rounded a corner and skidded to a halt. [small]"Emperor save us..."[/small] She muttered at the sight before her. It looked like a squad of Soroitas had been responding to the incursion when...something...attacked; whatever it was very fast, and had attacked with total suprise, as none of the Sisters had even got a shot off before they were cut down. Right through the armour, like it wasn't even there. She thought, looking at the remains of a Sister that'd been cut in half vertically.

Pushing on, she took one of the Soroitas' bolters with her...not the she needed more guns, but she was pretty sure the Eversor would need one. Finally reaching the indicated room, she stepped inside to find the creature, cadged and unconscious. Just perfect... Setting the newest bolter down, she cautiously approached the cage and shook the Eversor's shoulder. "Hey! Hey buddy! Wake up!"
