I'm not saying some games aren't worth $59, but most just aren't. I make my money but do I reaally need to spend literally hundreds of dollars to own a few new games?
acutally i've been using gamefly to get games for my new ps3 and old xbox360. ends up being about $3 a game which is pretty cool.geldonyetich said:I've been in school so long that I've learned how to be very frugal with game purchases.
These are interesting times we live in.
- If it's not on the PC, get it through GameFly [http://www.gamefly.com] or like service. $25/mo for any game you want is affordable enough. Even if you decide you want to own games, you can usually get them about half-off.
- If it's on the PC, it might be on GameTap [http://www.gametap.com] (though I think they're losing it lately). Otherwise, don't buy it right away, wait for the price to drop. It's really not worth spending $50 on something now you can play for $20 a year later.
- Then, of course, there's the new price for PC games: free (with optional micropayments). I'm not talking about piracy, but rather the ton of Free2Play MMORPGs and web games you can find these days. Like World of Warcraft? Give Runes of Magic [http://us.runesofmagic.com/us/index.html] a try some time. Even Dungeons and Dragons Online [http://www.ddo.com/] is going free to play.
Right, that wording was a bit ambiguous. Edited.animallikeit said:acutally i've been using gamefly to get games for my new ps3 and old xbox360. ends up being about $3 a game which is pretty cool.
Your post is informative, engaging, appealing to the senses, and most of all, it shows that you are a useless inhabitant of the world and should be kept away from all humanity. You might have at least tried to comment on the topic at hand and added anything useful, but if this is all you could come up with, I suppose it will have to do. Don't want you to overwork that brain muscle after all.Windexglow said:too*
