It would depend on when it was. If where friday or saturday night, and they didn't seem too shady, I would be morally obligated to let them in. If it were some other time, I would probably interrogate them for a while to ascertain their intentions, then I would let them in.

Since.. you know, I live in the middle of nowhere. ;( But if someone did show up I'd be really pleased and after the, "How did you get here, who are you, why are you here" I'd probably make us some coffee and offer them some mämmi. My first general response to a complete stranger at my door is usually my knife in close proximity to myself when answering the door but out of sight to them, this because I'm not a completely trusting person. However if it was someone that I knew (there is one on my list that I do) answer as a friend should. Not too complex of a system but it works.
