Sony MDRZX300B's. I quite like them, they're sturdy and have reasonable sound quality. They used to hurt a bit when I wore them, but I seem to have broken them in. Or killed the nerves in my ears.

So yeah, I have some of these as wel. They are really good, owned them for a few months and they seem reliable so far. Go great with my Creative Zen X-Fi as well.
For my ipod i use terrible, cheap earphones that i buy 2-3 pairs of at a time. they last about 5-6 months on a good run, so most of the time my headphone replacement costs hover at around $8 per year.

I don't use headphones on my computer. I have a Logitech 5.1 surround sound system. I also have a Bose system for my tv. For music, I just use the cheapest pair of ear buds I can find since they only get used at the gym and that is it.
I tend to buy things that are multipurpose. So I am a video editor, but I also game. Solution? Razer Headset.
i go though a pair of headphones about once a month and have owned about half of the headphones here at one time or another, i hate that i break them so often

Currently i'm using these, not the best fit for gaming on PC, but they were never meant for that, i bought them for my phone and soon after that my headset died, never bothered to buy a new one. At least these are more durable than anything i ever had.
Yup. People used to tell me this all the time because I used to listen to my music through the same headphones that came with my ipod. I didn't know what they were talking about, but decided to entertain their bitching anyway. I bought a pair of cheap $10 Sony earbuds to try and the moment I turned on the ipod I was like...WAT!? With that said, as someone who has started DJ'ing, they're useless because they're open, and to DJ properly, you need a set of quality DJ Headphones. So i went with Pioneer HDJ 2000

No, they are very good actually, but price:quality ratio is far too high. You can get the same quality with headphones that range in the $150-200 range, some even cheaper. Like I said, you pay for the name and the looks, which I am pretty happy with.brainslurper said:

i use sennheiser hd 280 pro for everyday comfortable use at PC (i only use headphones when i'm on PC).
and for music at home and on the go i only use Equation RP-21 they are so awesome!

They were pretty much announced about a week after I bought my Razer Megalodon headset for about 150 euros. It's weird, the Tiamat is being advertised as their first 7.1 gaming headset, but the Megalodon is 7.1 and if it's not for gaming I can't imagine what else it's for. I suppose it's portable (on account of being very light), but it doesn't actually fucking work for anything other than gaming on account of the weird Maelstrom audio box that's attached to it. I'd say that the Megalodon was worth it (they are really, really comfortable and the audio quality is great), but there's pretty much nothing in the way of insulation for audio going out of the headset.
