I liked it. It's not as good as Up. But NOTHING is as good as Up. NOTHING.
I'm with you there. It was a great movie in it's own right, but Avatar has nothing on Up. No amount of deforestation is going to tug at the heartstrings as the first 15 minutes of Up.
Up was a fantastic movie! The golden retriever had that movie under his belt if he wore belts..

As for topic relation... This still doesn't beat the group that tried to boycott Avatar, stating that the future was transexual, not straight. (Which is completely idiotic seeing as how Transexual is a gender... Not a sexual preference)

I'm sure I could find the website again if I looked hard enough... Send a pm if you want a link.

Over excitement?

I was bored throughout that whole goddamn movie.
I fell asleep at the last fight thing.
Sucks to be you, that was the one good part of the movie.
Well, they shouldve managed to make the entire film like that. I saw 3 other people sleeping half way through.

Wait wait. There is a stupid name for the people who enjoyed the film?
Seriously?

What ever happened to:
"Hey I saw Avatar!"
"Oh yeah? I did too. I didn't like it very much."
"Really? I enjoyed it! I thought it was a fun movie!"
"Neat. Wanna go grab some ice cream?"
"Sure!"

End Scene!

Geez, people. Get over yourselves.
You like it or you don't, but let other people enjoy, or not, the film in peace.
Sheesh.

This.

Well anything that is even slightly mainstream and popular is always totally gay and retarded and lame.

At least that's the way the "edgy hipsters" think. Also Republicans when it comes to any kind of environmental message.

I'll be seeing it soon in 3d, should be exciting I suppose. The thrill of wondering when cardiac arrest strikes!

/thread, seriously. I don't see why people need to either love or hate something, and if you don't agree with them, you're either retarded or "butthurt".

I enjoyed watching Avatar (and the 3D, though it hurt my eyes, really was good), but this might be taking that a bit far...
My sympathy goes to his family.

Wait... what? Wasn't one mammoth blockbuster enough for Cameron?

I just think that would be the worst thing to do last before dying... seeing a movie.
Not to mention unless you're with SigOther/spouse/friend then it's possible that you wouldn't be found and helped until after the movie was over...
