So, bank holiday and all, I went to London over the weekend.

What else can a nature lover do in London but visit Kew Gardens? Well not much to be honest, seeing as it is little more than a concrete slab with a river running through it. But it does have this rather special place. Kew Gardens is a big park area with glass houses, various ornaments, and lots of plants flowers from all over the world.

It being spring the ducks have been having some hanky panky out of sight, and the inevitable has happened with them having a bunch of little'ns. A young mother swam over to me with her litte'ns in tow...

Nothing strange here. They come quite close to me at my park all the time, although not normally with the ducklings. What I really didn't expect was for her to wander up bank past me and leave me with her babies unattended! I really was close enough to reach out and touch these things, but by force of sheer will I was able to resist.

Eventually the mother returned and they all left though, which was a real bummer.

Anyone else seen the new life springing up about them? Perhaps displaying the epic cuteness of baby animals everywhere?

I adopted some feral kittens a while back. No pictures, unfortunately, but there was a huge d'aaaaawwww factor.

My cuteness quota has been satisfied for today.

Thank you good sir.

Edit: Hmmm, should I post the pictures of the baby racoons we had for a bit?

Well aren't those... adorable I suppose.

Sadly I haven't seen any 'Cute' animals other than the ones I own for quite some time. Just Cows, with a fair bit of them tagged for the meat industry.

Last animal I saw that was young and 'adorable' I ended up hating.

So. Cute. I want to hug one and pet it and call it John and take it on many adventures with me.
Ahem. Well, in terms of new life, I fed a baby lamb on my aunt's farm a few weeks ago. It was all I could do not to squee [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Squee] then and there.

Dawww I been near baby ducks before and they are cute.

As of lately, several of these cute fuzzy caterpillars are popping up all over the place. There so fun to play with.

I've had pet ducks before < yes, actual pets not for food>, and I have to say that ducklings are completely adorable. If you let 'em hide under your hand < when they're small enough to do so>, they'll sorta nuzzle your hand with their tiny little beak. It's completely d'aww inducing.

Unfortunately of recent I haven't encountered any baby animals around. But those pictures there just made my day a bit better.

Woah, you should have warned me of the large amounts of fuzzy-animal I was about to take in.

Now I need to go look at chainsaws or something manly.

Roar.

DUCKIES!!! Eeeeheheh, I'm sorry I just love baby duckies, good thing you didn't try and take any of them, the mother would've ripped your face off.

I saw the first wasp of summer recently, big one, probably a queen looking for a place for a hive. Yay, summer.

And yeah, those pictures contain an illegal amount of daawww.

Yep I know. There was a goose nearby with her babies. There was no way I was risking going near her young'ens. She was watching me very closely.

It's quite fun. We have some ducks visiting our garden quite frequently. Unfortunately, no ducklings yet. It won't be long, though, I guess. I'll make sure to take some pictures as well then!

That brightened my day. Thanks for bringing this amount of cuteness to the forums, it brought a smile to my face.

EDIT: Although I haven't seen any yet, I know there are plenty of baby deer and little cows around. If I see any I'll snap a pic and load them up here before they get all big and scary.

My grandfather always makes us look at the baby birds in various nests whenever we visit. They're pretty cute, some of them at least.
