I went back and checked - this is Ajantis:Susurrus said:The first three portraits you mention are new, whilst the other two are pre-existing. The one on the right of those two is I believe the portrait for Ajantis, a Paladin you encounter on the road to Baldur's Gate itself.
Assuming you mean a Good party, I'm guessing the best people for the job would be Keldorn and Valygar on offense, with Mazzy and Minsc providing ranged support...Yosharian said:I'm hoping that there will be some non-magic characters added to the game. I pretty much only have one idea left for a playthrough, and that's an entirely non-magic party. Yep, should be interesting trying to defeat Kangaxx!
Ranged support?! Minsc?!Diana Kingston-Gabai said:Assuming you mean a Good party, I'm guessing the best people for the job would be Keldorn and Valygar on offense, with Mazzy and Minsc providing ranged support...Yosharian said:I'm hoping that there will be some non-magic characters added to the game. Well, you know what they say: if the stat fits, wear it.AldUK said:Ranged support?! Minsc?!
Good luck telling him that's his role...
What a strange person you are. Don't get me wrong, Planescape is my favorite game of all time, but Planescape's beginning is a LOT slower than Baldur's Gate's...Icehearted said:Never got the appeal. I barely completed the first dungeon and was bored to tears. Planescape, now that's magic, baby!
I wouldn't call it cheese - or at least, not when you're dealing with...Yosharian said:The mods/unofficial patches I play with don't allow this type of cheeseHaagrum said:Solo him with Protection From Magic Scroll plus Improved Mace of Disruption?
May have been the unusual theme, Sigil is a place of immense wonder, even in the crypt. The whole thing was just really strange, but really alluring.Susurrus said:What a strange person you are. Huh? When did EA get a hold of the company in charge of the remake? Got a link?SimpleReally said:Am I the only one skeptical about this?
ITS EA NOW GUYS THE COMPANY YOU ONCE LOVED IS DEAD!
My guess is they will add some thief NPC and a couple of dungeons with some overpowered items and call it a day.
Jaheira and Mazzy can both do well as front-line fighters (with the right equipment), and if you use the BGT mod you can dual Imoen into any class you want, not just Wizard.Yosharian said:Only one slight problem, all the female characters are magic users!
There seems to be a fourth new face as well, down and right from the orc - I can just about make out a bald Asian man... could that be Balthazar from ToB?Alcaste said:There are three portraits that are definitely not in the original game, and I've highlighted 'em for us. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/50300736/blow%20your%20mind.jpg
I think the first one might be a remade Jaheira, since I can't find her anywhere there.
That one is a default portrait in the game, though I don't think it matches any of the characters you can recruit it is definitely one that you can pick for the PC. Since he wasn't actually a character its tough to find a picture of himDiana Kingston-Gabai said:There seems to be a fourth new face as well, down and right from the orc - I can just about make out a bald Asian man... could that be Balthazar from ToB?Alcaste said:There are three portraits that are definitely not in the original game, and I've highlighted 'em for us. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/50300736/blow%20your%20mind.jpg
