Careful with that straw buddy. That much of it is a fire hazard.Objectable said:Dungeons & Dragons: Dark elf society is a matriarchy whose ruling caste consists entirely of hot polyamorous bisexuals.
Gamers: Sounds reasonable to me!
Dungeons & Dragons: Also, trans people exist.
Gamers: That doesn?t seem realistic. What is this forced representation bullshit?
And in a world where gender shifting spells, items, and potions are a thing, how can anyone who's even remotely careful about spending have an issue with their birth gender? ESPECIALLY for a frigging murderhobo (A.K.A.: an Adventurer)!?
Though that's still ignoring the fact that the main issue involving the character in question is that she's is basically a poorly written token who's only there so their author can virtue signal and show off how progressive she is. For crying out loud, the SECOND BLOODY THING she tells you is her transgenderness! Have you ever talked to actual transgender individuals?! That's a subject they tend to only bring up when amongst close friends! It's a VERY sensitive subject to them, and they tend to HATE this character because she represents them so badly!
Then again, that's a pattern I've noticed with SJW devs. Depression Quest was a flop with people who actually have depression, and Dragonspear has a transgendered character who actual transgendered people can't stand.
By the way, you forgot to mention how the "matriarchy whose ruling caste consists entirely of hot polyamorous bisexuals" is basically a massive collection of backstabbing sociopaths who worship a goddess who regularly turns some of them into spider people and is held together only through the threats around them. Way to go on making one of the best villainous organizations in the setting look bland and uninteresting though.
