Stunning graphics, animation and audio. Wow!

I'm looking forward to this. And I can't see how anyone would be whining about it not running on XP.

Too bad it's been confirmed that they will. Along with fighter jets.

This game is shaping up well so far!

Looks fantastic. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'll have to upgrade my comp though to play this one it seems.

That sniper also sucked some big ones.

Ok, I saw a graphical glitch around 1:28 on the building for about a fourth of a second.
But the rest was pretty damn cool, and I wish we could have seen those destruction physics as the building fell completely.
However a .50 cal would hit, and then you'd hear the sonic boom. it wouldn't be *piff *CRACK as rock explodes. Rather, *CRACK then *BANG
Other than that, everything else was amazing. The sound effects (despite the sniper), voices, and general lighting was incredibly good for an earlier build.

I beg to differ. Bad Company 2 already has it.

And so it begins.A simple video that announces the bane of recent battlefield games:rocket spamming.
If the Carl Gustav rpg/all other types of massively overpowered rpg are still in the game,I'm only joining games that ban players over-using it.

And you can all blame DICE for when I rocket launch all those useless bush-wookiee snipers who are only out for themselves. And it will be glorious.

Clearly the sniper wasn't me as all four of them are still standing. (Before people start screaming, I'm joking).

Pretty game. Very pretty.

Would be nice to see them fix some of those weapons. The one Marine doesn't even have rear iron sights and that M240 Bravo is all wrong; it has a 200 round M249 box mag which doesn't work with an M240. Also seems out of place being that your probably part of some sort of LAR or rifle platoon.

Other than that it's looking fairly promising.

That Sniper sucked... Wasted all that ammo, didn't hit a single one of them. Deserved what he got I say :<
Agreed.

He had plenty of chances to take out the NPCs, the player actually stayed out of range and moved quickly behind cover till the end.

That was just beautiful. Animation was near perfect, and the graphics overall are stunning.

It looks good but in BBC2 you are normally sniped from far, far greater distances than that. You would have to put a rocket over to the other side of the map.

I don't think I've ever seen a trailer make me want a game I don't care about even less. Cringe worthy dialogue, and a rocket launcher that apparently set off a controlled demolition? Well, at least there's a unique and original setting...oh.

While you are right about some of the models, you can't really talk about out of place when this game takes place in the future. Good observation, I must say, but not entirely relevant.

This game, however, looks utterly brilliant. If they keep up this level of madness, I might chalk it up as the second(count them) game I buy at release this year.

98.5% sure that explosion is a scripted event.

Also, they're going for the Modern Warfare "scary scene where you don't actually shoot guys, just keep moving" thing, but I can't say it's working out realism-wise. That's one shitty sniper to constantly be missing them (seriously, anyone care to count those shots? A real sniper would've taken out the whole squad with half as much ammo and you don't give a .50 caliber rifle to an amateur like that) and it's seemingly scripted to miss on purpose, even though he has a clear line of sight as well as a standing target on the player itself at one point (hopefully, this is done for purposes of the trailer and will be fixed).

But... all of that aside... I like it. No wait. I love it. Maybe it's the screaming nerdy Battlefield fanboi in me, but that doesn't change the fact :p

edit: oh and using rockets versus snipers is a tactics used even now in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Works when they hide in a building too and you can technically take the whole thing down if you're persistent enough (I believe it takes some 5 shots or so, an Engineer can pack 8 methinks)

The AT4 didn't take down the whole building; rather, it just knocked out most of the windows and knocked the hotel sign off its moorings, both of which are reasonable. The cloud of debris and smoke make the building look worse off than it really is.

Also, that sequence is probably pulled from the Single Player campaign, and so the shooter is probably scripted to be a bad shot. Plus, everyone knows that no one in MP would give someone else their AT4 when they could instead miss horribly with it themselves.
