F*&k it. How many new releases are going to have this kind of crap?! It's like everyday I hear about a pending release incorporating some form of "always on", or other DRM measure. First was Spore, then Assassins Creed, and instead of learning from it, now EVERY publisher wants to have this shit.
The ones who started it, is everyone who bought HL2 and installed shitty Steam on the day of IT's launch (inc. me), which just shows all the publishers that "hey, if people want it bad enough we can get away with *anything*!" So now id, Blizzard, EA, and god knows who else are jumping on the same wagon. And I really, really, really wanted Diablo III, BF3, Mass Effect 3, etc. This year might signify my throwing out of this hobby. Before anyone tells me I'm a crybaby, I'm stuck in an apartment with a shoddy connection at BEST, and I'm lucky if even the electricity stays on for a whole gaming session, let alone my internet ok?
