I got a great discount on Spectrobes!

Also! If anyone thinks I was being serious about Spectrobes being a great purchase at any price, they need to skip therapy and jump straight into the hug-yourself-snuggle-jacket.

Seriously though, the phone I recently bought came with Java Sudoku on it. It's gotten me through the most boring lectures and conversations I've had lately.

Also, I paid around AUD$10 for the Pokémon Snap re-release on the Wii VC. So worth it, it's not funny.

I generally acquire games in a different way *cough* piracy *cough* but the only two games I actually payed for were BioShock and Crysis. They were around a 100 bucks together but it was a 100 bucks well spent

Out of the value, I think all video games are subjective in the absolute.

The average person's junk is probably more valuable than our criticisms designate so.
Sim City 3000 came out in 1999, had isometric graphics run by very VERY basic 3D worlds and mosty textures, and when playing fast could take quite a bit of the processor of the average computer in the day. It sort of looks like crap nowandays, but to me it's one of the best worldly things that's ever happened to me.
Everyone may think this or that is great, but I believe that no opinion should be incited simply due to hype or detail; simply your own feelings.
okay, maybe that was a rather arbitrary exposition, but this was a cool thread and I'm going to bump it.

Getting the Metal Slug anthology for my PSP. & games of awesome packed into one UMD for on the go fun. Seriously that is one of the best game collections I have ever owned. Incidentally it got my friend who owns a wii to buy it for the wii...too the the waggeling kinda makes playing it annoying.

Unreal Anthology, 5 dollars.

UT '99
UT 2K4
Unreal
Unreal 2: The Awakening.

All on 1 DVD, with 1 product key shared across all the games.

Very convenient, even though I already owned all of them. xD

Either when I got The Orange Box for $50 the day it came out, or the time I traded in my Halo 3 and got NBA 2k9.

If I truely enjoy a game, the price is little concern. Although paying $2 for the 1997 PC game 'Private Eye' (which is my favourite game of all time) is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime bargain.

Audiosurf. Best $5 I've ever spent, and definitely something I'll play for a long time coming.
