Balmung at the end of Myth Two: Soulblighter. The sword has lightning shoot out of it whenever it strikes an opponent. This lightning then arcs out and can destroy whole legions of enemy. The only drawback is if/when the lightning gets into your own ranks...

I know someone who managed to keep Aeris for the rest of the game- apparently she actually has extra abilities you can unlock at later levels if you can keep her. And yes he had to hack it. He also hacked several other games, including hex-editing them to use certain units during levels your arent allowed to, etc.

As for Aeris, her abilities went all the way to Limit Break Rank 4, but she had fewer actual limit breaks then the other characters (I think she had 1 per Rank, for a total of 4, instead of 2/8)

Azails Star, or whatever the special soul gem was in Obilvion that you could use to recharge your magical items and just kill something to fill it back up was awesome and so needed at later levers.

Worms - Banana Bomb - hell on earth...

Dead Rising - Mini chainsaws are awesome.

Painkiller - The stake gun, its been a while but nailing the enemy to the wall with a giant wooden stake always rules.
