People keep saying that the Notched Pickaxe was in Oblivion as well but for every dozen claims there hasn't been any evidence. I went through the game files with the Construction Kit but the pickaxes I found were ordinary. Does anyone have a picture?

There was an item called "Recently Used Pickaxe." Not "Notched Pickaxe." Looking up Notched Pickaxe on UESP takes you only to Skyrim articles. Methinks one person mis-remembered and people started taking the one post as fact, remembering the Recently Used Pickaxe under another name.

OT: I think the developers are trying to show that they have nothing to do with what their lawyers did and that they have no problem with Notch and Mojang.

I don't remember a notched Pickaxe from Oblivion. I only remember the useless Pickaxe Miscellaneous item, also the Elder Scrolls Wiki doesn't mention it. Does anyone have any proof of a notched Pickaxe besides just saying there is one?

The pickaxe is not a magical or normal pickaxe... but a GHOST pick! Come from the beyond to haunt us in oblivion AND skyrim!

No they don't the Notched pickaxe was also in Oblivion and in Morrowind so it's a lot older then the minecraft craze.

I don't think there is one, I think peoples memories may be a bit fuzzy
