Anyway, I'm more exited in the hint that Argonians are next.

The argonians may be next? I want to see what those look like as I almost always roll Argonians and have done so since Morrowind.

...the ears... ...look like they were taken from other series's versions of what elves looked like. I always roll Dunmer in Elder Scrolls games, and I've never seen one that looked like this.

You seem to have forgotten Morrowind. The ears aren't new.

Looks like utter crap to me. Some sort of dark fantasy asian warlord thing. Doesn't even look "dark".

At least it looks better than in the other games. But that's not much of a compliment.

Doesn't even look dark? These are still elves here okay, but compare that one with a High Elf and tell me that ain't dark. Plus, Dark Elves have a wide enough range of skin colours, they can get darker.

But what should a Dark Elf look like then? Here they seem to give them their own flavour, not some reskin like in Oblivion.

I was reffering to that one elf guy. He doesn't look dark at all when you compare him to other renditions of dark elves in fiction. I'm not saying he CANNOT LOOK ANY MORE DARK because that would just be stupid.

And this is a bad thing how, exactly? Not all Dark Elves have to be S&M loving super-goths ala the Warhammer Dark Elves. That wouldn't fit with the TES style anyway.

So according to you, what kind of Dark Elves would fit with TES? Because I think this semi-Asian, more warlike and wild look is perfect for TES.

He should probably look like a goddamn elf. You know, fair-skinned, noble, slick facial features. I know Bethesda has this thing where all faces ever imagined are ugly as all hell, but I can't be happy just because it doesn't look as horrible as Morrowind or Oblivion.

Are we still talking about Dark Elves here? Because you're describing High Elves. Dark Elfs wouldn't really be a good contrast against High Elves if they'd look the same hm?

That, and remember that this is just one pic of what looks like a fairly old and angry Dark Elf.

But yeah, the face looks like it's had a lot of Asian influence in it's design. I wonder if that has translated over to the other two Elf races?
