OH. MY. GOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH.

Awesome. I'm one of those people that can just kick back and spent an hour or so tweaking faces. I love virtual character creators. Actually the only thing I love more than good character creators are cat people. Money.

Nice, the Argonians and Khajiit(Khajiit is singular and plural, right?) look more reptilian/feline, more feral, unlike Oblivion where they were basically just "human with scales/fur, a tail and a muzzle-like head/face" It's more like the older games for their looks, and I think that's a good thing. The other races look pretty cool too, and it looks like character customisation in this is going to be better than ever. I'll probably go for Khajiit or Altmer, like I usually do, I might actually play a Khajiit first though, since they look much better this time around.
I think Khajiiti is technically the plural, but that may have fallen into disuse as I'm not certain I recall seeing that since Daggerfall.

I remain suspicious given Bethesda's track record on character design (also known as "who cares, the modders will make them look good for free!") but this is promising. But as stated elsewhere, I'm going to need to be convinced that the females look good before buying into the hype.

Wow, they look really good, but can someone tell me what race the character is in the 2nd pic. I'm guessing its a redgaurd but he looks very different from the redgaurds in Oblivion. Looks really cool though.

Yes, that is, indeed, a Redguard. I dig 'em.

I've always been an Argonian because they're so AWESOME looking, and I see Skyrim isn't changing that.

Is it just me, or does the Orc in slide 10 look remarkably like Anthony [http://www.giftsandfreeadvice.com/free_advice/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/jm.jpg] La [http://images.buddytv.com/articles/Image/without-a-trace/Anthony-LaPaglia.JPG]Paglia [http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2011/07/28/1226103/349755-110730-anthony-lapaglia.jpg]?
That's an Ork?! I thought that was LaPaglia.

My wife is always able to make a hot character in Bethesda games. She says the trick is just playing around with the creator for a while. It makes sense to: if it's a Bethesda game, you're probably going to be playing it for a while; may as well put some effort in.

The character models look great...the characters themselves are still ugly

5 looks badass compared with what people looked like in Oblivion. But after those screens - I'm so rolling a raptor jesus character.

Very, very impressive. I'm eagerly anticipating Skyrim's release. I look forward to creating a Nord and eventually finding a warhammer that rivals Thor's.
This mortal form grows weak. I require sustenance!

QFT, this game is looking better and better with every screenshot/gameplay vid

Though the characters do look good and well detailed i hope when i talk to those characters that the camera doesn't suddenly zoom into their souless expressionless face like the past few titles have done because it just creeps me out and breaks my immersion.

Oh no!

They've dumbed down the character creation.

A thousand curses!

A gameplay trailer for Skyrim showed that the conversation system is much more natural and NPCs still keep doing whatever they were doing at the time, they can even still move around and move onto other stuff. The screen gets zoomed in much, much less as well.

I'm pretty sure that in the demo they said that that wouldn't happen anymore and instead it would work in a different way. I think the camera remains free and you can still look around. Not 100% sure though, I'd have to rewatch the video of the demo on Youtube to make certain.
