I've nevr had an attraction to another man :/ And whenever I see any two males kissing on the street I can't help but be a bit disgusted. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people. All these anti-gay laws are complete b/s and are relics of the past.

Don't know what all this talk of a completely straight male being rare are about...

People saying that "everybody is a little bi" might want to start making compelling arguments instead of copy-pasting Kinseys report. His work is interesting and promotes debate but that´s about it. I´m straight, never felt attracted to a man and i dont feel like i belong in a museum.

On topic: Sexuality is not a choice, so there´s no greed involved in bi-sexuality.

Yeah, you've made a couple of good points. I'm very firmly straight (or at least as straight as you can be with the sex drive of a bloody panda), but have had same sex encounters. Nice as they were it just was not my thing.

A lot of people I know have told me they're bi, but very rarely do I see any evidence of it. It's like a status thing in my area. it's edgy.

Well, I say that. There's a line you can draw through my town, right down the train tracks (how I wish I was kidding) on one side being Bi is hunky dory, on the other, you'll get stabbed and have your kidney nicked.

With my Christian views, I tend to see bi-sexuality as a form of lust. This gets me into some pretty bad arguments that I usually end up walking away from before I rip the other person apart.

My problem with bi-sexuality is almost entirely about sex, though. I believe that it is possible, actually, I believe it's important to love people from both sexes. Not in a sexual kind of love, though. More of a "Man hath no greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends," kind. The mixing of the two types of love is what puts me off.

If anyone has any arguments or supplements for my views, I'd love to hear them.
I'd argue that there are 3 types of love; sexual, friendship and unconditional.

People of all sexual orientations can experience these 3 kinds of love, the only element that changes is who they feel sexual attraction towards.

Bisexual people can feel strong sexual, friendship or unconditional love towards either sex.

They annoy me. Well, the 16 year old girls who go "I'M BISEXUAL" because they got drunk and a girl kissed them on a cheek. They then proceed to go out with only guys and when you call them out on their bullshit they call you a "pervert who only wants to see girls kiss." If I want to do that I have the internet, and you're probably an ugly ***** anyway.

that doesn't really make sense.

also, I thought saying someone's sexuality is aberrant was a taboo around here.

Can you look at a man and recognize that he is handsome? Or do you look at a man and feel not just neutral, but turned off? People who are 100% heterosexual have trouble being aroused by hardcore pornography because the presence of a penis it repellent. I know you want to show how manly and not a fag you are, but saying "everyone is a little bi" is not the same as saying "everybody wants to have sex with both genders". Do you understand now?

I have no attraction to women. I've made out with women on a number of occasions just to see and I've felt nothing. I can appreciate when girls are good looking but I have no sexual desire for them, nor do I wish to be in a relationship with one.

Human sexuality doesn't suddenly change to suit the times. Just because the Kinsey scale exists doesn't make it definitive.

what about the sex? homosexual sex happens all the time in nature.
If your going to say that you think sex should only be for procreation well then your going to live a very miserable life.

Alright, fuck this thread, no matter how many times I explain it to people, they ignore it anyway to get all defensive.

Anything to say you're TOTALLY HETERO NO HOMO, right?

I have never been attracted to the same sex, still only being capable of romantic/sexual feelings towards one single sex seems to me a bit shallow. It's likely that, as Talal mentioned early on, that a huge majority of the population really is at least a bit bi, but I'll add that maybe most people don't accept it and block out any bi/homosexual feelings due to social pressure or something without even noticing.

Totally. Though it seems much more comman for women to be bi then men. Maybe its the fear of being condemned by your peers for being gay that doesnt exist as heavily for women...

I've heard somewhere that pretty much everyone will find themselves attracted to a member of the same sex at least once in their life.

Also, if you look at it historically, there have been societies where bisexuality has pretty much been the norm (the ancient Greeks for example), which leads me to believe that total straightness (ie. aversion from homosexual acts, rather than just non-interest) may well just be a result of societal conditioning.

I suspect a lot of people are probably in a situation similar to mine, where they have found themselves attracted to a couple of males in their life, but never strongly enough to act upon it. Due to various factors, I find it easier to present myself as just plain straight than any of these grey areas.
I have thought though that maybe if I'd had sex with a very decent number of women, I would be willing to give it a go.

Due to a healthy exposure to "Girls With Slingshots" I now think that bisexuals are simply people who are comfortable around both sexes and therefore are able to fall in love with anyone, no matter what gender.

You do realize that I explained how things work several times in this thread but people still throw fits, right?
