Someone sold one of those things into my store and I honestly didn't think it'd ever sell. I went back the next afternoon and it was gone. And I even put it in the 'movies I didn't think would ever fucking sell so it's at the bottom with the washed out covers' section. Needless to say I was shocked. Go BibleMan, I guess.

I was actually forced to watch this show as a kid during my Religion class in elementary school. As I recall at one point they use some sort of lightsabers and somehow this related to bible studies.

BTW I'm an atheist now so Bibleman can suck it.

My neighbors when I was five tried to make my family religious and so they gave us a bunch of these taped.
I can guess how that story ends.
How's that?
Well, I can only guess, of course, but my heavy assumption is that it didn't work.
Yeah, I didn't even finish the first episode. At 6 I realized how screwed up and childish the show was.

So when the show's main "villain" does something that contradicts Christianity, it's up to bibleman to force his facist Christian opinion upon him and all the kids in the audience? That's terrible. Any parent who condones this show isn't fit to have a child.

Children shows should try to teach multiple viewpoints and tolerance, not this facist crap.
Facism. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facism]
Christianity. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity]

[HEADING=1]SLIGHT DIFFERENCE THERE.[/HEADING]

Also: since your opinion is invalid, you are no longer fit to have a child. See how that feels? Feels kind of ridiculous, doesn't it?
I used the term facist incorrectly. What I meant was self-righteous. I apologize for the confusion.

I wasn't trying to claim that Christianity or Christians in general are self-righteous either. From what I see, the show is sending a message of intolerance by having the hero punish others for going against Christianity. I see message as being self-righteous.

I think hes a bit of a ejit really. You see the bad guy who looks like he just came out of the grease rejected auditions line, then at the end of it bibleman walks in with a sword. Imagine if in grease when the start having a fight(dance off) and one of them pulls out a shotgun. Dick move? I think so.

Would that that were true.
They also have an annoying tendency to jump into any argument about religion and say "MY BELIEF COUNTERS THIS". So....Religion.

Lack of belief in gods would make you Agnostic as you've not shown any strong views either way.
By "they" you mean "evangelical atheists," who are, ironically, a lot like the religious people they so hate.

But just like most Christians aren't this fuck, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps] not all atheists are of the evangelical sort.
It just intensely annoys me that the ONLY view of atheists I ever see is people who troll religious threads saying "You're wrong because I think differently".
And a religion is usually a group who share similar beliefs and morality
Sort of like a group that refuse to believe in God but share morals brought about by religion?

I'm sorry, scientifically speaking, Atheism is like Theism in that you're basing your beliefs on either
a) A bad experience
b) Specific parts of the Holy Book being to your taste/not to your taste
c) What someone else who is making a load of money says.

Now if you want to ignore the other possibility, that's fine, but it doesn't give anyone the right to tell others that they are wrong.

For Atheism: There is no scientific proof that God does exist. There is also no scientific proof that God doesn't exist.

For Theism: Since the increase in Atheism throughout the world, the number of people feeling desperate, suicidal or depressed has risen dramatically. Also, the rise of bizarre offshoots like Britney-ism or Primark-ism or even Twilight-ism is causing similar effects where people's own beliefs fuel them into attacking non-believers.

When there's an Atheist who does as much for charity as Theists do, then I'll step back, but at the moment it just seems like an excuse to troll Theists.

And apologies to all the genuine atheists out there.

OMG! I saw this like a loooooong time ago flipping channels! I forgot about it until now. I watched like, 3 episodes because they where so humorously bad. The black guy has a rocket launcher, with a complex mechanical device and lock on targeting and is capable of shooting a tiny net. Oh, and I can't believe OP didn't mention Bibleman has a light saber. No joke, he has a golden lightsaber XD. Never uses it to slice people up though, when he fights with it he basically spews bible quotes while clashing blades in the same motion repeatedly with the enemy until he sees the error of his ways and runs away yelling that god's power is too strong or something. Which brings up a very important point, who the hell is he fighting? Obviously it isn't Atheists as they clearly BELIEVE in god, And it isn't satan worshippers... Sinners? Abortion doctors maybe? Eh i dunno. All i can say is that it's probably not having the intended effect.... whatever the hell that may be.

You just don't hear it announced as "Renowned Atheist* Bill Gates Gives 100 Million To Starving Kittens, Hugs Puppy."
You also don't hear of Atheists going to work on Christmas (Pagan if not Christian), not kissing under mistletoe and a lot of things that are strictly religious. Given how much of our culture is built on religion, including a lot of the great scientists like the Reverend William of Ockham (who created the Occam's Razor; that most people use to deny God), you have to wonder if it's not just sour grapes.

Even if God doesn't exist though, can there not still be room for religion? While one implies the other, Buddhism's cycle of renewal has no Gods (Buddha him/herself is merely a teacher not a creator); so the idea of an Atheist Buddhist is not only natural but perfectly acceptable.

Simply saying, "I think the Bible's rubbish" doesn't make you an atheist though.

I live in Great Britan, fortunatly we don't get that show over here. But through the miracle of the internet i saw and episode, only after hearing about this show on: "you have been watching". I cringed at this show, cheesy costumes horrible bible bashing, quoting from the bible (some of which were wrong). I watch it with a christian friend of mine, she was deeply offended by it. which dosen't surprise me, this show (remember i'm an athiest) manages to take the same god that smote thousands of people in Eygpt, flooded the world, raised the dead all sorts of other reality defying things (that i don't believe happend but you get the point) and turned the religion that follows that god into a horrible little shit pile of a kids tv show. It's a bit racist ,no two ways about it, it also in fact would work better as a way to stop kids becoming christians to try and make the ancient well respected religion look as cheap and cheesy as possible. No other religion in the world would allow this sort of thing to happen to it, not Hindus', Jews, Muslims, Buddists or any other major religous group they have too much respect, in fact this may be a perfect use for the phrase; "only in America".

"Hit him 3 times and even Buddah won't forgive you" From this show i conclude that you can piss all over the holy trinity and they're cool with it!

(sorry if that last bit offended you-i don't mean to be cruel)

Atheism is NOT a religion, it is the lack thereof. "a-theism"
Actually, alot of people say otherwise. Technically, Atheism is a belief in nothing, hence, still a belief.
That 'technical' definition is grossly inaccurate. Atheism is a belief that there are no gods, which is very, very different from "a belief in nothing." Belief in nothing would more appropriately describe a radical skeptic.

it's racist... if i made a show saying other religions are wrong and shoving fossil's down people's throat's, i would be considered satan.

people think it's alright to beleive in an impossible being that created the world, yet has no proof of existance but i believe in the aliens and im the crazy one...

E.T has more chance of being real than The Passion of Christ but people still think that the holy spirit exist's.

p.s i am not racist. i don't hate religion i just find them annoying as all hell.
