Bigest Game Fail Ever

I was stuck in the tutorial in Asassin's Creed 1 for about a week. How was I supposed to know to hold down the button to get past the women with the jars?

I even called my friend,
Me: "Dude this game sucks."
friend: "Hold down the B button while walking forward."
*I go to try it*
Me: "Are you serious?"
Friend: "It took me a while too."

GTA 4, i was in a firefigth with the police, and i was very low on health, i shot the last police man, he's gun fell to the ground and fired 1 last shot, that hit my leg, and i died xD

I try to rocket jump in like, every game. But about all the times it just doesn't work. Lesson to all: realistic games never let you rocket jump, so don't go pointing that huge artillery on the ground!

Lol, that made me think of Doomsday Arcade.

My biggest Fail was in Unreal Tournament. I just got the redeemer, and was about to level pretty much all of the enemies. But just when i shot, a friendly vehicle came past in i killed myself and some other people on my team... the plane almost killed someone else too, pretty much half our team died.

That one caught me out too, took me bloody ages to work it out, in fairness, the tutorial wasn't all that clear on which button to press to walk through them.

For my own fail, I think the worst that's ever happened to me is cooking a grenade on COD4, throwing it quite a distance, only to have it hit a wall and bounce right back, then hit me in the head and kill me before it actually exploded.

...Death by my own grenade without it even blowing up, I swear they're made of rubber.

During Left 4 Dead 2; I managed to bag a grenade launcher and then immediately managed to fire it at a zombie standing right in front of me (health dropped to about 40). Then a charger came. Then I died.

MW2 I tried to kamikaze my way through a level on Veteran.

Halo 2 I had a snipe lined up on a guy on the other end of the map but just as I shot a player spawned in my line of fire killing him immediately

In Saints Row 2, I was flying a chopper up to the top of the Ultor tower so that I could base jump. The top of the tower is slanted, so it's pretty tough to land on. I get as close as I can and then hop out, and I successfully land on the building, only to have my chopper crush me and knock me off, falling to the pavement below in a fiery explosion.

L4D2. Swamp finale, trying to take down a tank while the rest of the team failed at killing simple infected, only to see ANOTHER tank come into the room on fire.

I played Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday, first time playing. I was at the local "gamespot"-basically, somebody just leased a store and set a whole bunch of systems and got a whole bunch of games that people can play. It's awesome. Anyways, I never play on Live, so I desided I wanted to join an online game. Well, I was an idiot and forgot tht when you play an online game, they assume you've played through the actual game and don't give you a tutorial. So here I am, not knowing what to do, and I ended up being point man. Well, woman, but I was playing a male character. So whatever. The only reason I was in front is because I got tired of waiting for someone else to go first. Also I had a sniper rifle, so I just took out the enemies before they noticed me. But, oh man, it took so long before I even figured out how to use my weapon... and don't even get me started on healing.... the people I was playing with probably thought I was retarded. Hell, I thought I was retarded... But I was having fun, so whatever.

Far Cry 2.. Taking on some random faction-boys at a gas station. I throw a grenade in amongst them. Then for some unexplicable reason I charge towards the gas station, where I'd forgotten that I'd thrown the grenade. So I ducked behind a car, looked down, saw the grenade - basically thought Oh, buggery before being blown halfway up Kilimanjaro.

Seriously though, my ragdoll flew really far..

I use this moment alot in these threads, as a win AND a fail.

So I'm playing FC2 multiplayer and walking across a bridge by myself. Out of nowhere, a friendly jeep whizzes by, filled with teammates. The jeep crashes into an enemy jeep, flipping them sideways. I sight up with my RPG and fire. BAM! Three TKs, two enemy kills.

I nearly got banned from the server, but I'll be damned if it wasn't worth it to see that explosion.

Amen! Well i was playing last night and i got an absolutely amazing kill.
I was on Vahalla and i shot a Banshee with a Spartan Lazer which exploded causing the wing to fly into a member on the opposite team giving me a splatter kill.
Qfail for that guy.

The most recent one I can think of is in MW2 where I had almost completed the Loose Ends level on Vetran only for it to checkpoint when a bullet was about to enter my skull.
