And the last tiny shred of interest in this game has now gone to drool at Mafia II with the rest of me.

Still going to buy it. Still going to play it. Still going to love it.

And as an added bonus, still not going to have a single problem of any sort related to DRM. Hurray!

I'm getting the Special Edition for the soundtrack record, but I'm still going to torrent it and install that version. (hey... that way I can keep the plastic cover over the diskbox. squee!)

Great, and I was actually looking forward to this, I hardly look forward to any games coming out and now I have to make sure shit like this doesn't happen.

Ah, Microsoft? When you're offering a "service" that most people think of as a "hurdle" to getting to play games they actually want, maybe you're doing something wrong.

Uh...

Just drop it already - Games for Windows LIVE is the single-most useless piece of shit I've ever used (note that this might be an exaggeration).

Its unclear, tacked on, mysteriously labour-intensive for what it is, and all around shit.

I'll grab a bucket so that we can drool in it together.

Maybe we're all spoiled by Steam, but GfWL seems almost universally hated. Especially annoying are the games bought through Steam that STILL require Live. It gave me a lot of headaches playing Fallout3, GTA4 and Dawn of War2. Really hate the online saving.

It really is not a SERVICE when it mostly works against you. Just give Steam the monopoly on PC game service/DRMing so we can all quit bitching (for a while anyway).

It's like Take Two purposely has their game on mind to be unlikable.

A sequel that wasn't needed.
Multiplayer that wasn't wanted.
SecuROM that wasn't liked.

Thank god it's coming to my PS3...

But wait PS3 installs as well!
It only copies game files (textures, models etc) to the disk because Blu-rays run slower than normal disks.

You're A-OK.

This kind of bullshit is the cancer killing pc gaming, not piracy.

Now i hope Bioshock 2 fails in sales. Those Fucks shouldn't be allwed to do this. This is a real kick in the balls.

It'll be cracked within the week of it being released. People aren't going to bend over and take this crap.

I'm just glad I'm buying it for 360.

Well you know Mafia II is a 2K game as well eh? You can (probably) have fun with Securom and Live on that as well. ;(
