I have to say the name is really catchy because it gives a sense of "Oh that's not so ba"-BAM!!! *He throws you out of a window*

I like that Handyman is a hulking brute and does not seem like some absurd acrobat like the Big Sister. What will be really interesting is to see what other "Handyman" type enemies there are. Perhaps even smaller sized enemies of a similar nature, who knows?

**Also, for some reason the name makes me also think of "Candyman"

Thinking about it, on a re-watch there HAS to be two of them. Unless he's damn fast.

The dude falling passes at least six or so stories before he hits the blimp, the another eight or so before getting to the different house the telekinetic girl is in.

So unless he's faster than a falling dude, I reckon there has to be more than one.

Also, first post, woo! :)

That WOULD be very fresh... too bad they aren't clever enough to do something like that.

Hmm, I quite like the name, it somehow has a rather sinister ring to it, though I can't quite tell why.

If the Handyman did turn out to be a single enemy, he would need to be a seriously tough one and that would have to be some highly reinforced glass protecting that heart. It would make the appearance of him ingame all the more dramatic.

I'm interested in finally seeing the appearance of the Handyman. In the video, it almost looks like he is wearing a long coat of sorts.

I have to say so far the character designs in bioshock have been quite good, they know when to stop over designing unlike War from Darksiders

This makes me think of at least two possibilities:
1. There are multiple Handymen, most likely working together rather than as independent beings like the Big Daddies of Rapture. If you get a Handyman riled up or if one is after you, then others may join the hunt.
2a. The Handyman is capable of using some sort of teleporting, be it a biological means (similar to a plasmid) or
2b. It can also use zip-lines or any other possible means of quick transit between places in Colombia.

Ok, hive-mind-esque bio-mechanical automatons sound both awesome and terrifying. Here's hoping its that one!

They have demonstrated that telekinesis exists, so a plasmid-similar method is plausible, but I certainly know which one I'm rooting for :)

I like the name and the design - and I like even better the concept that there's only one of these things. The fact that there were multiple Big Sisters in "Bioshock 2," rather than just one pulling the strings as the preliminary GameInformer article described it, really defanged it from anything more than a new monster design. The concept of one stalking you through the city, fighting it off and wounding it just enough to send it running, as it confronts you multiple times showing more and more scarring damage, is far more unnerving and creates a much better bond between PC and boss monster.

I think I'd like there to be three of them. It would have the coolness of just one being after you, but more of the 'oh shit' factor when you have to defeat all three at the same time in the finale or something.

That would be awesome.
