Woah... Chill Winston! It's business my friend. Look at Call Of Duty: MW2 for example, 360 gets the new maps before anyone else because again MS have paid for them. In the instance of DO:O, I believe the blame would mainly reside with EA anyway, it would have been their decission to take up a deal to exclusivity
Sorry for dropping that bomb, but it just gets under my skin, when things like that happen. While I do readily blame EA for several things, and am quite prepared to blame this on them too, I'm more inclined to blame Microsoft for cheating. Sure, you could pay them off so that the other consoles loose out on sales, but a competent group would want them to compete, to see the actual comparison data. Cheating bunch of...*grumbles incoherently for a bit*
Lol at the grumbling.... Would you now hate me for saying that I only own a 360? I do see your point though. If another console was getting content that was being held back for mine I wouldn't be best pleased about the situation. I haven't had any of the DA:O DLC yet though because I'm still plodding through Mass Effect 2 & Fallout 3 trying to get 100% on both.
Haha why would I hate you for it? My, how petty the world has made us that mere ownership of something might imply that someone would hate you. Though, it is an interesting conundrum. I understand exclusivity, but touting exclusivity when it's supposed to be multi-platform is a bit like demanding to be 45m ahead of everyone else in the 50m dash, and that's what bugs me about that thought. For all their one-upmanship, Sony and Microsoft really should be competing on the same ground, and not trying to trip the other competitor up. Both are fine systems in their own rights, with plenty of attributes for each, but when something is equal for both of them, then they should really play it fair with it, and see where the preference is for the gamers themselves. All we're looking at right now is the hissy fit in the middle of a public area for a spoiled child trying to get its way, with a parent obliging for now but soon might give the child a spanking and send them to their room. Oh, and you should really try some of the DLC--Warden's keep was pretty good, with a nice choice to make, while Shale could be...uhh...well, I didn't really use him, but you might find him really useful. Good luck with your completions, man.
I should correct myself. I did DL Shale & used him because I liked his disdain for squishy fleshy things or however he put it. He reminded me of HK:47 from KOTOR... in fact he pretty much was HK:47. As for the rest though, well, you know where I stand at the mo.
From what I've seen with MS though is they are quite petty at times. Not sure if you've seen that "SentUa message" thing(they answer FAQ's) on XBL but they openly took the piss out of the Bug PS3 owners experienced at the beginning of the month. When I did laugh at their comment it was at the childishness of the remark not with it.
PS3 - Respectable & patient
360 - Childish, petty & Gotta have it now NOW NOOOOOOOWWWW

My bet is on newly unveiled Dragon Age and Mass Effect DLC. Or the TOR beta going live. Though, if it is the DLC--Where the hell is PS3 support for Return to Ostagar??
Return to ostagar is out for the PS3, at least it is in Europe

Truthfully this kind of thing doesn't get me really all that hyped anymore, and it's kind of pointless for the most part. OMG advertising to get me interested in more advertising? I suspect it's for an annoucement and I find that a bit underwhelming.

That said MAYBE it will be something really cool like un-heralded DLC or the vehicle pack or whatever.

As far as the Old Republic Beta goes, that would be kind of cool, but generally speaking if I did somehow get in I'd have to wonder how interested they are in their bug hunters. I don't expect immediate responses to found bugs (priorities and everything) but I do like to occasionally hear someone at least looked at what I had to say, and when I see what should be easily correctible issues lasting months and not being fixed even after launch it makes me feel that they really don't care about people who at least try to do the testing right as opposed to treating it entirely like a free preview. I'm increasingly becoming a bit irritated with the whole thing on a lot of levels, though I admit the attitude of some of the testers who are just there to play and figure out how to exploit before release might have something to do with it as well. :/

I'm not expecting it to be the beginning of a massive beta invite though.

OMGWTFBBQ...

[sub]hmm...move that letter there...sub these two for this...[/sub]
[sub]...divide that by the sum of the combined means...yes, yes.........no...[/sub]
AWESOME!!!!

Alright everyone, I think I've got it. By figuring out the code, I've managed to decrypt the additional source class, and here is what it means:

Oh My God, What The Fuck, Bar-B-Que.

When you put that together you get one hell of an awesome Barbecue party, and I'll be damned if I miss this one. We need to keep searching! There has got to be some indication of the location of this party, and we only have a few days to find it. Come on, people, find that code!

Additionally, they may or may not announce some new game stuff, probably for TOR. But that obviously takes a back-seat to a major cookout like this, so who cares.

I hope it's something reeeally dumb, like mailing out biscuits to the first 100 people who click the link at noon.
I WOULD BE SO HAPPY.

Though they might be a bit stale by the time they get here...

No, I'm not familiar with the message thing, I've never even heard of it. After a moment of looking it up, I could see how it would be an interesting thing to have, if only they didn't look like they just skipped their own high school graduation to do the show. It's a bit witty, though it does grate on the patience a bit, to say nothing of the juvenile nature. Very...representative.

Oh, don't tease me so, friend. Are you sure? So it's only here that gets that horrible "coming soon", as seen on the page below, right above the logo that says "PS3"?

The Old Republic beta?

Yes please!

Or maybe a Dragon Age/Mass Effect 2 crossover game which would make no sense...
I would still play a Dragon Age/ME crossover, lol.

Hoping it's SLAPSGIVING
I think that a KOTOR 3 is kind of redundant what with the MMO being released but then I'm not really all to informed of either.

I didn't, and wouldn't want to apply for TOR beta, I don't want to go through the story, which will be awesome, whilst suffering through the glitches that plague most beta releases.

Argh,

now I am excited by the build up only to be sure that there will be the inevitable let-down when all becomes clear. Oh well, fingers crossed that it will be awesome.

They'll announce that they've worked on KOTOR3 in secret for years, and that it will be released shortly to shorten the wait until TOR is out.
Or Jade Empire 2

Well, I can still dream, right?
