I don't care at all. Bio used to be good.. but they can't even pull together a coherent storyline over 2 games, never mind 3.

The storyline from 2 is so far removed from what happened in 1 (the machine baddie suddely working with organics, you suddenly working for the people you were trying to kill in the first, the sudden introduction of a new stringpuller, what was wrong with the shadowbroker anyway.. illusive man my ass), no doubt 3 will pull a bunch more sudden reveals out of it's ass...Lazy, cheapass storytelling.

The franchise is an incoherent mess considering all the crap they said about it all being planned .. lmao.. they couldn't even make sure the gameplay was comparable.

The new Bioware is unworthy of their past successes.

BioWare Drops Another Hint

BioWare [http://www.bioware.com] has let slip another hint about its secret new project and this one leads somewhere that you probably weren't expecting.
That image is all the proof that I need. It is almost certainly related to Mass Effect. That short little clip probably took a fairly significant amount of effort to put together, and (I hope) Bioware is not so lazy as to reuse a design that would still require them to remodel the weapon entirely.

This my friends, is VERY clearly an Incisor Sniper Rifle, and it is a weapon in Mass Effect 2.

YEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHH

Whether it's Mass Effect 3, or 'N7 Code of Honor: Medal of Duty', I care not, I will be greatly excited.
Yeah, those two rifles do look alike....nice find

I don't think they'd be sneak revealing Mass Effect 3, everyone expects them to reveal Mass Effect 3, it's not a very good surprise, it'd be like "surprising" someone with cookies they knew were in the pantry.

the machine baddie suddely working with organics
The humans killed a Reaper, the characters of the game themselves speculate they are using human subjects to create a human-style Reaper in an effort to make a superior 'human'. They work with the Collectors due to some early descriptions of the larger powers of the galaxy leaving them to their own devices, and because the Collectors are more commonly found in the Terminus Systems where human colonies are easy pickings due to lack of council or alliance protection.

They revived you, and actually give a damn about finding out about the disappearing human colonies. Plus it was only side missions that Cerberus were related with. Their true intentions were hidden under the Alliance propaganda you hear about them through.

The Illusive Man pulls strings within Cerberus mainly. His influence outside of his own organisation is limited, thanks to the hatrid they receive from pretty much every other power in the galaxy.

And the Shadow Broker isn't affiliated with any one group, and still retains control over the flow of information. At least until the DLC...

Seriously, it's not hard to figure this stuff out if you pay any attention to the story.

OT: I am hoping for a big DLC or the Call of Alliance's Duty: Future Space Warfare in Space or whatever. Mass Effect 3 would be too easy to guess, and another game altogether would ruin the links to ME.

Too bad Sony Russia occasionally confirmed that it's Mass Effect 3 on Twitter. And as it happens with Sony, a screenshot has been taken before they removed it.

It says "Bioware company showed a teaser for VGA award in which you can see first footage of Mass Effect 3.
It's a Sony, people. PSP Go leaked, PSP2 leaked, now they leak even third-party announcements.
That doesn't look like Shepard though. At all. So dubya tee eff?
Shepard could die in ME2. Most likely ME3 is about new hero, like Dragon Age 2.
Or maybe it's the guy you'll assume the role of if you either start a new game (without loading a save from ME2) or got Shepard killed off for good in your save file.
no, it has been made clear that if you (Shepard) dies in ME2 it's game over. ME3 is meant to the last story for Shepard.

My guess this is a DLC for ME2 as the DLCs haven't finished yet or self-contained story/side project for ME4...dont forget there is no reason why it could be "MassEffect: Cornish pasties" instead of a number ect...

How could Shepard die?

A hint that leads to one of the most famous espionage agencies? Weaponry in a picture that hints to the Mass Effect universe?

That does it, I'm calling it now; Blasto! The Hannar Spectre The Game.

I don't think you're right about anything you just said. It all seems like you were barely paying attention. Cerberus was AN antagonist in ME, not THE antagonist. And the politics of the galaxy is what forces not only you to work with them, but also you to work against the Shadow Broker, who tried to sell your corpse to the Collectors. Were you listening at all or did you just cut through all the cutscenes and dialogue?

If you did no upgrades to your ship and had no one's loyalty, it's possible to lose everyone including Shepard. Only Joker survives in that instance.

thinking its gonna be a futuristic action game (probably set in the mass effect universe) possibly telling the story of first contact between humans and the aliens.
thinking its gonna be set in london (hence why you could see the tower bridge and the thames in the trailer) with an mi6 agent sent to investigate all the wierd things happening.
As far as I can remember, in the ME universe first contact occurred on certain colonies with the turians. And as far as I can remember, their short-lived war never reached Earth itself.

Which could make this game an alternate version of the universe in which Joker is the main character....AWESOME!!!

I dunno. I think Sony is getting this wrong, and why would they be right? Its a Bioware game produced by EA. I see no reason Sony would be in the know about this.

They don't need to announce Mass Effect 3... They kind of already did in the loading screens of ME2.

Hoping for something like Alpha Protocol. Obisidian didn't really handle that particular concept very well.

I am immune to your silly hype machine, Bioware. I don't care how many cryptic hints you drop. I can wait patiently for the actual reveal, you're not going to get me playing your little "guess what?" game.

That's really pretty poor justifying going on there.

Everything I've said is bang on... if YOU don't want to admit that Bioware screwed the pooch in the storyline of the second then that's up to you .. but don't post that I got it wrong.

ME2 has got pretty much nothing do do with the first.. except the WIDER storyline.. which doesn't actually get tackled.

I mean come on... wiping out all progress (story and character) of the first in favour or a botched new storyline and a whole different cast (except for the cameos)...(EDIT.. oh I forgot, Joker's is back.. big woop:/) really... even a first year lit student would have learned the do's and don't of storytelling... Bio just failed so hard... and it's sad to see people excuse them for it.

I don't know if there were enough battles for the first contact between Turians and Humans too warrant a game, but I hope its about that.

I was thinking that the first place that BioWare would go after Shepard's story arc to keep with the Mass Efect universe would be to go back to the first contact wars between the Humans and the Turians. That's my guess.
