it was in every cartridge released in the U.S. and removed from the PAL release.
Ok. I read it a looooooooooong time ago, so I didn't remember. I just know it's in my PC version (At least I think it is, I don't have a 3.5" drive to install it on) and it's in my NES version. Along with Invisible Dave!

Non-violent video games shouldn't be too hard to make, some already exist. To make a game all you need is a goal, obstacles and a means to over come them. Just violence is an easy way to make it fun and exciting.

*Ahem*

Flower.

There ya go. A beautiful example of a non-violent game.

I know that's not the point so I'll continue. It's really hard to create a game where there's zero violence. Old NES games embrace violence in some way or another (Mario jumping on top of living creatures, MegaMan shooting robots, DK tossing barrels at a pudgy guy, etc.) and they were fun. They were so fun that a modern 5 year old wouldn't mind playing these games. However, try and make a kid play Flower AND actually like it. Hard, huh? I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying kids are not attracted to those kind of games.

Sure, BioWare. You can go ahead and create non-violent games like Tetris or Gran Turismo or whatever. Just keep in mind that these games will be more appealing to a more sphisticated and significantly smaller audience. Most players, both kids and adults, prefer to go around shooting people and kicking ass and taking names.

(What the fudge balls? Who bumped this old thread? I've been had!)
