yeah I hope they DONT get special attention anymore...then we wont have then legions of whiny "fans" fliping the fuck out over one screen shot and procliaming how hey have lost faith in Bioware (before they have actually played the fucking game)Canadish said:You seem to be suggesting that Bioware HASN'T been on a massive downward spiral for the past 2 years now.Blind Sight said:OH NO IT'S A SINGLE SCREENSHOT BUT MY FAITH IN BIOWARE IS LOST FOREVER.
...Seriously guys? This is pathetic.
It looks like something I'd put as my desktop, so I'll wait until I actually get some basic release information and then I'll consider it. Until then, I really can't have an informed opinion on one screenshot.
Mass Effect 2 was great, but the plot was a shambles when you actually thought about it.
Then the WAVE of over priced DLC came along. We all shugged it off, assuming they were just selling out a little. Just once, to help fund other stuff.
Then we heard the Old Republic is costing well over one hundred million dollars.
Then we heard about DA2. The community split. Half said it was doomed, the other that they were just haters and had no faith.
More DLC and Preorder "bonuses" then ever before.
Then it came out. It was awful and it bombed.
Now we've seen the Old Republic and it's WOW in Space.
And now?
Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. Mass Effect 3 Origin Exclusive. Mass Effect "best place to start a trilogy" 3.
Now we know the story details and how it ends. It's a cop out.
So no, it's not just a screen shot.
It's a bland as all Holy Hell screenshot that's following off of two years of solid disappointments, abusing consumer trust and failing to live up to who they were just 5 years ago.
There is nothing to suggest that game isn't just another generic post-apocalyptic shooter from a random developer. Bioware does not deserve special attention anymore.
Although I'd replace "making judgements" with "foaming at the mouth and ranting unintelligibly".babyhenchy1 said:And cue people making judgments based on one single image.
First, Dragon Age 2 wasn't even close to abysmal. Second, I guarantee that BioWare will at least make Dragon Age 3 before deciding the franchise is "dead".radioactive lemur said:Not Dragon Age 3 eh? Looks like the abysmal DA2 killed the series.
Either of which indicates typical action game/shooter schlock.TheCowman said:Explosion or crash.
I was struck by a bolt of lightning, and granted extreme perception. It's a bit of a curse.I suppose not all of us can have super-duper powers of detection that allow us to surmise all that information from a single, vague image.
I guess the politically correct term would be 'fanperson'.And congrats on playing the fanboy card so early. I was worried this thread was getting too classy.

Someone got it! /hi5!minuialear said:OT: I thought teaser pics are supposed to make people excited about a game, rather than utterly confused.
That was my thought...hazabaza1 said:Looks kinda like Rage mixed with Brink.
Judging from the image... fuck, there isnt enough to go on to even say what it is, than alone if it will fail or not. This cannot end well.
