Bleszinski Wanted to Dismember Master Chief in Gears of War 3

It would be funny I suppose and it could be kind of cool to watch two beloved franchises get together into one beautiful stream of violence.
But, of course, the big thing to remember is that Halo isn't as violent or gritty as Gears of War, so it would kind of look out of place. Plus crossovers have a bad history of failing.
Besides if I had to pick between the Spartan or the Gears my money goes on the Spartan.
Rebounding energy shields, the ability to jump high heights, oh and Masterchief killed like three well trained ODST's when he was about thirteen.
Still, the Arbiter would destroy all of them.

I've genuinely got no idea where the idea of "Cliify-b is an asshole" came from. He seems like a pretty cool dude who seriously knows his technical/artistic stuff who can invest himself into the idea of a story really well while also being completely unafraid to take the piss out of both his own stuff and everyone else's.FogHornG36 said:

Also it wouldn't make much sense, as the Chief would most likely destroy Marcus if they were pitted against each other. Anyone who's read the Halo books knows that your typical SPARTAN-II is far more than just a person in a suit.

OT: Well, if we can't get Master Chief in Gears of War, what about Duke Nukem? He'd be perfect! He's a badass, overpowered pottymouth who dismembers aliens for a living! Who needs Master Chief being silent while sawing someone in half when you can have Duke Nukem say something completely obnoxious in his epic voice?
Then again, he'd hit on all the female characters.
