Looks fine to me. Abit chunky but hey it's a Panda, Pandas are fat in real life so as expected to be somewhat on the large side here.

Keeping calm and carrying on now.
No worries people!

Those arent actually breasts, they are just rolls of fat that went up a little high.

OT: yep, Blizzard is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Dev 1: "Shit we are losing subs quick what do we do?!" Dev 2: "Roll out the furries and the pokemans!" Dev 1: "Brilliant! And lets give them D3 for free if they give us their money!"
Well WoW certainly didn't make the Panderans a playable race for us North Americans or Europeans. More for the 5 million Chinese and SK players. And they've been in WoW lore forever but still ya. Certainly pandering to the asian market. ^_^

Also, they already rolled out the furries with Worgen. This is defiantly about what i said above.

I feel that WoW will will replace EverQuest as the butt of jokes that revolve around "Guess what still exists!" in the same way Episode 3 has replaced Duke Nukem in jokes that revolve around "Guess what still doesn't exist!".

Also, while I have no qualms with Ursine Lactic Dirigibles, I feel that deliberately calling attention to such things is somewhat uncouth, and was done deliberately to incite media attention.

Compare the models, they are virtually identical. That it is a furry dwarf which looks like it took the effort of five minutes to make after they lavishly and lovingly assembled Samwise's fursona. That seems to be the nature of most people's vitriol.

Either that or their vitriol comes from hating furries.
Again, still not seeing the problem. There are some general similarities... but I digress.

Fans can say and believe what they want, it's cool. What I didn't understand is why a NEWS ARTICLE was so openly vitriolic and unprofessional. I'm calling the article writer out, not anybody else that dislikes the design.

Why are people making a fuss about the Pandaren again?
People on the internet like to parrot things they see other people saying, see arrow in the knee.

That's actually... strangely adorable. A bit unexpected, yeah, but I can't deny that it's cute.

How do we know that they're ladies? Why, they have stereotypically human bosoms, of course! Not that there's any logical reason for pandas to be busty, but then again there's no logical reason for pandas to know martial arts, so I suppose Blizzard wins this round.
Wow, I really don't see the problem here. Does no one understand the definition of anthropomorphic?

Straight from Wikipedia:

Anthromorphic is any attribution of human characteristics (or characteristics assumed to belong only to humans) to animals, non-living things, phenomena, material states, objects or abstract concepts, such as organizations, governments, spirits or deities.
That's right, anything thought to be exclusive to humankind is fair game when applied to an anthropomorph. That would include hair, breasts, the ability to walk upright and (probably, in this case) the ability to talk and perform martial arts.

Let's be fair here guys, when we're talking about fantasy and anthropomorphic pandas, logic and the theory of evolution has been discounted long before breasts were added!

She looks pretty cute. But only WoW 2.0 will get me to play again. The engine and mechanics are polished but dated. My next MMOs will be Guild Wars 2 and Planetside 2. Gonna keep a close eye on Tera as well and see how it fares over its first year.

Looks about how I'd expect to. Compared to most of the other races they look so... non-threatening. If I ever get back in to wow I would totally try being a panda-man.

Hey they've been around since WCIII so why not?

Can't say I'll be playing as one, but some of the other reveals were nice.

ALL of my guild's druids are now my mount. Mwhaha.

I'm serious.

Druids are getting a ridable travel form.

Pandas? Sod that, I get to make crude innuendo jokes when one of my druid friends transforms in front of me and I just casually jump on them.

I'll be beta-ing, so I'll see how much enjoyment this gives me.

That is cute as hell. I am so gonna make one of those. Shame the internet will be flooded with disturbing hentai for a month or so after release.

Ahh, I can get behind that but now that's a whole other can of worms that comes from finely slicing this. We can get to the heart of it by figuring out what this article is.

This looks like a regular news article. Even the person who wrote it thought it was a news article. Let's look harder at the article.

What is the news here?
There is an update from Blizzard regarding the female pandaren model.

Is it news since it contains the update of what the female pandaren model is?
Not really since Blizzard already announced the female pandaren model on their website.

What is the message from this article then?
The author isn't happy with the model.

This isn't really a news article then, it's an editorial opinion piece: the opinion being unfavorable towards either Blizzard or World of Warcraft. For all intents and purposes this looks the same as a news article to the point that those with agreeing opinions would think this is one. But for those who don't have an agreeing opinion, it's jarring and unsettling to read especially if the author published the article as if it were a new article. Opinions don't have to be nice or even factual to be written, published or read. It happens all the time. Just look at Fox News. The fault isn't him being openly vitriolic and unprofessional, it's him writing this editorial opinion piece and not specifically stating it is one.

Glad Im not the only one seeing this!

OT: Game looks good. A great leap in a different direction, WAY away from the horrible cataclysm.
I personally do not play WOW but I see how this can be a good thing. If you keep throwing depressing things at them like Cataclysm you will only serve to either desensitise them to the grimness of it or leave them so depressed that they would not want to continue playing it. Throw a little cute at them to contrast.
