... wait, what?

As a former (male) tauren player, I was actually considering on returning to WoW after a 3 year hiatus and I'm still fond of the tauren and the horde in general... but this?... I... I think I'll have to think about this... twice... or thrice...

And here we see Domino in her casual combat attire. She enjoys moonlit kung-fu duels on the beach, yoga - master of all positions -, and stabbing unicorns in the eye with the needles she keeps casually tucked behind her hair. She is seeking a sparring partner. A great guy who has good form, can take a punch, and doesn't hit like a girl.

Am I doing this right?

I think people are getting bored of hating on the ME3 endings, so this is another scapegoat for their need to rage and stupid things.

Fellow Scalie here saying: UR Doin ite Rite!

Furries/Scalies are just the the "in" thing to hate on right now like Justin Bieber, no one really has any beef with any of them, it is just the popular thing to do.

Yeah out of all the races it makes the least amount of sense for pandas to have boobs. Apparently boobs are supposed to have come from how humans don't have muzzles but seeing as how these pandas do, it would have served the least evolutionary purpose. Then again you can always just go NAH this kind of thing doesn't have to make sense since cross breeding between species is not only possible but has happened a few times in the lore. Were just lucky they didn't just go straight for fan service furry fap material like I was dreading.

So yeah I'm guessing that female pandas will actually be played to female people, you guess if that's a good or a bad thing.

Yeah, this is such a stupid move, what with the whole "giving the massive Chinese audience a chance to more closely identify with their World of Warcraft experience through the most lore-friendly way possible" thing they're doing.

Oh, and yeah, its super dumb for Blizzard to make a character model similar to all the other examples of that sex when every single female apparel texture is going to be designed with certain physical attributes in mind, yep.

I thought I was hating on the Bieber for what he represented and he let down the gender not for being able to sing in a high voice (cause range is something to aspire to) but for having little range and only singing in a high voice so that he purposefully sang like a pre teen. What's even stranger is how women older than pre teens themselves found this attractive at all when all the noises he was making were more familiar with the fairer sex.

I thought that it was standard protocol for every playable race's female to have breasts and curvy hips?

I really really really don't understand the reason for the vitriol seeping from this article. It's really confusing and off putting, I don't see what's so terribly wrong with these models.

Mostly that.
They are basically hairier dwarfs... and thats saying something.

The trolling potential. Do you all see it?

I'm laughing for real right now. Hard.
I see more fuel for Rule 34; nothing more.
And that's all I want to say on the matter.

It has fur and then styled hair on top of that fur.

not only does it take a way from the "pandanoid" look, but that would take about a year to grow like that.

Still, that just seperates it from "cutest thing ever" to "cute, but a tad overanthromorphized".

And yes, I just used a 7 syllable word in a sentence about pandas.

Time to take World Of Warcraft out of sight behind the far shed and put it out of it's misery with a shotgun slug to the temple.

Of course, there's always the option of a breast slider, but this is male gamers we're talking about, you may as well set it at 100% and unmovable and I imagine it'd be a couple of months before anyone noticed.
Hang on, I think you missed a part of me with that tar-laden brush of yours.

Anyway, I don't get the hate. I think it's a pretty decent model. Not sure about the red colouration they're likely to allow, because red pandas aren't actually pandas. Apparently they get a special tail though which... still doesn't make sense, but it's a more complete wrongness.

Eh. I think all the character models in WOW, male and female both, are hideous, Oversized hands and all. No better and no worse on the Panda people. But it is nice to see some chunkier female models than starvation diet model sized thinness with bowling ball bewbs standard.

Shit happens. Bieber made the mistake of signing a record contract and now he is nothing more than a corporate shell with no room to improve or innovate because it might jeopardise his popularity quota. I dunno, maybe that is the way he wants it, never met him but when I mention such this song comes to mind. A-La record company screwing him over.

Why are people making a fuss about the Pandaren again? The Tauren are one of the original Horde races since classic and nobody said a word about there being a playable race of anthropomorphic bovines, lest we forget the kobolds, gnolls and furbolgs to name a few of the beastman races which inhabit the world.
(Apologies if someone replied already) The Tauren have been around since Warcraft III and were an established part of the lore. Besides, most people agree that minotaurs are pretty badass. There was a Pandaren in the Frozen Throne, but he was supposed to be a one-shot joke character, because Blizzard figured no one would take anthropomorphic pandas seriously. They were mostly right, and now people are taking the fact that they're trying to legitimize the Pandaren as evidence that Blizzard is grasping at straws, trying to keep the WoW money balloon inflated for as long as possible. I tend to agree.

And now if we look to the left, we will see Blizzard taking an ancient proverb to heart. As an old internet poster once said, "Tits or GTFO." Blizzard has selected the former and the proof is evident when the casual observer studies the large breasted critter that is soon to make an appearance on the massively popular title, WoW.

Of course, Tits was the superior option when faced with the choice but was it necessary to sexualize a panda? Blizzard's answer would appear to be a yes.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is Blizzard in it's natural habitat.
