It's Fur-tastic!

That being said, Good for them. I guess. More good vs evil imbalances though, as no one really wants to be a goblin. It's pretty bad at this point.

To be honest I think the Worgen count more as "Otherkin" rather than "furry" in strict terms.

These

http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Otherkin

Opposed to These

http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Furry

It's pretty disturbing to be able to make such a distinction, I know. Though I guess the two could overlap.

That said, I don't see where it much matters since we already had the Tauren running around. Overall it seems fairly interesting to be honest, I was kind of hoping they would introduc a mechanic like Druid shapeshifting allowing Worgen to change from human, to were-form, and back again... but it doesn't appear to be the case.

As much as I like some ideas inherant in Cataclysm, I'm just not big of bringing Apocolypses to established fantasy worlds. I understand why they are doing it, but I feel like I've seen enough of this with D&D over the years.

You know even though they're werewolves, I think they look really nice.

*EDIT* To all who complain over "There are furries in my WoW!!!111!" have you forgotten that the Taurens have been there since the start?
Taurens aren't really a furry thing. I mean, they're cows. Furries are into things with fur - wolves, dogs (eww), cats, foxes.
Ehh no, Taurens fit into the "Furry character" slot just the same as the Worgens, since, you know, THEY'RE COVERED WITH FUR! or have you not seen a Tauren lately? They are just as much a target of the furry's insanity as an Anthropomorphic wolf thing.

It's sorta like saying that a honey dew isn't a melon but a cantaloupe is.
People are attracted by cows? Eww.

Last I heard they were gonna have the ability to go between human and worgen form, worgen when attacking and your choice the rest of the time. There was a post on here showing the transformation animation. Is that what you were referring to?

Yes, but last I heard (in WoW) that wasn't going to happen. I guess we won't know until it's released.

I still remember back when The Iksar were released for Kunark and there was a lot of discussion about them tail-slapping as an automatic thing when they meleed, and that they were going to be able to effectively "triple wield" (albiet the tail without a weapon). That was scrapped though.

I want to be a goblin!

With as "slinky" as this model is, I may be less inclined to make one. A female anyway. I get enough ERP whispers on my gnome and draenei characters.

I wish these worgen females were more... wolfish. Less sleek-dog-furry. A little less difference in the dimorphism between the sexes would be enjoyed/appreciated.

I was talking about the post on the first page,I thought you couldn't find a joke("I'll add it later"),didn't realize you were talking about what character you would roll for.
Oooooh, I get you know, sorry just a plain misunderstanding. Yeah I was just saying I'm going to roll Worgen now, just the question remains of the class...

Not cows specifically (Although I can't speak for everyone), the anthropomorphic character made to look like a cow. And why does that shock you? You've been on the Internet for at least 2 years (Judging by when you joined the Escapists), I thought everyone knew about Furries by that point.

I'm tired of all these "lol furry" comments adding no useful comments or anything of the like.

OT: I like the models aside from the cloth ones they seem to be a little off I don't exactly know what it is though.

They seem a little more.... catlike than I expected. Most of the face, except for the ears, seems more like a wildcat than a dog or wolf.

Shouldn't they have more nipples?
Shouldn't the Tauren have teats? What the hell do they need with mammaries?

Blizzard is... just weird.

I'll let the Worgen one slide since they have a human form, but the Tauren I'm going to leave it up to that little voice in the back of my head that constantly screams "Stop trying to insert realism in video games, you twit!"

Huh. Pretty cool, those. Majority of my characters have been female, so far, and it looks like that probably won't change.

Why? They're humans.

I think they look much better with hair. There was a site that had all the female worgen animations up, and the hair it used was this big spikey mane of hair. It made the female worgen look infinitely better in my eyes.

I will not be rolling a hairless female worgen, that's for sure.

Ooh, you have one of 'em mind control implants... Videogame devs have a deal with healthcare providers... A bloke from rural Montana got mine out, I'm no longer accepting those feeble "it's just a game" excuses! Wake up, sheeple!! Elves don't have ears this long! I should know, I dated one!

Speak for yourself as a lumbering 2 metre tall clutz I can't wait to play as an energetic green midget . I wanna make stuff blow up to so not so much role "play" with that bit though.

One minor query I notice that not a single armour type in the pictures are wearing shoes does that mean that we wont be able to use those items as worgen?

You guys had to bring up furries? Really? The horde have had anthropomorphic cows since the beginning and all of a sudden they go all "lol furries" about this?
