You guys had to bring up furries? Really? The horde have had anthropomorphic cows since the beginning and all of a sudden they go all "lol furries" about this?
1. there aren't too many people with bovine 'fursonas' running around. They're all predators, most of which are canids. Edit: undulate furrs are usually horses but more often deer. Specifically white-tailed. But I did see a Pronghorn one once.

2. The Tauren head does not have the same kind of cartoony proportions or style.

3. There is nothing cute (the cuddly kind or not) about the tauren face - male or female.
1. You wouldnt know that unless you talked to a lot of furs, which from the rest of your post Im guessing you do not.

2. Nothing about furry states that it HAS to be "cartoony" to be furry.

3. Not all furry art is done in a cutesy manner. I should know. I are one.

Counting down until the furry fandom 34's the female Worgen. *starts a stopwatch*

Edit: Also counting down until when Anonymous will collectively create accounts to hyper-troll every single Worgen player ever.
You mean the Worgen specifically? Because it's kinda already there. :D
The amount of WoW I haven't played just keeps getting bigger...

To everyone arguing 'THESE ARE NOT WORGEN'.

They're not.
They're human beings with the ability to change into a worgen. They are not savage, wild monsters anymore - They're sentient, civilized beings with an animal form. It's only natural they'd keep themselves more kept and clean.

..And, well. If you people think this is already going to cause an abrupt spurt of 'Furry' on WoW, clearly you've never seen Darknest or google-pictured Tauren or Draenei. It's already bad. Draenei especially. Stop whining about it.

Nice looking models, very up-to-date in terms of graphics, now if only they would update the old races models to match the quality of these, its pretty obvious to see the old ones are, well, old compared to these.

Firstly,

They look far to similar to Dreanei females, even the stills of their animations remind me of Dreanei females. It is obviously that their original structure and model was taken from Dreanei Females.

Secondly,

For once I'd like to see a female in a race taller/bigger then the males. Males can look more violent/etc and cool but it would have been really interesting to finally make a race where females were larger. They could have made it happen with this race because they are part animal, some species of animals have females larger. Not saying females should look buff, rather males should be smaller and/or thinner.

It's Fur-tastic!

That being said, Good for them. I guess. More good vs evil imbalances though, as no one really wants to be a goblin. It's pretty bad at this point.
What, really? Horde outnumbers Alliance on both my servers.
On the heels of cross-server paid transfers horde starting banding together. There's a handful of servers where there's only about 60 accounts with level 80 alliance characters on the server as a whole.

That aside, well I guess it was inevitable that after having as good a run with the races as the alliance has had through BC and WotLK it was bound to come to an end.

Swear to god if I come back to WoW and I find someone trying to RP a fur suit I am going to break some faces.

It's my understanding that Alliance typically outnumber Horde on the majority of servers. This is (part of) why they gave the Blood Elves to the Horde and a relatively less attractive race to the Alliance, to try and throw-off some of imbalance in many players wanted to play as a "pretty" race (IE: Night Elves and Humans). I guess I haven't heard much about it recently though, so maybe the Blood Elves did TOO good of a job and ended-up throwing the balance in the exact opposite direction over the past 4 years.

Really? Werewolves? REALLY?!
Come on, and they're not horde, really?
Instead probably the epitome of good in the alliance furries..
Instead of a monster race, as an anthropomorphic wolf would be, instead they turn it into a fetish.
that happened LONG before WoW decided to put them in dood, cause ya know, all the furrs out there.
but that said, as some one whom dislikes WoW, ( an i mean a LOT ) that's actually pretty cool, more diversity in races the better i say. >.> but goblins ... really ... why ?.... i'm coming from the magic the gathering angle here, where their the ROCKS are smarter then them
WoW goblins are actually pretty smart - they, with Gnomes, are one of the two "technology" races.

They're just... reckless. Very reckless.
well , reckless is better then being out smarted by plant life XD. and oddly enough, the wolves would be enough to get my to try WoW, had i never tried it prior, bad experiences with players an the way the games set up :/ so not going back, but tempting XD ( sucker for werewolves)

Wait... you mean that one race with digitigrade [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digigrade]-based legs looks similar to another race with digitigraded legs? NAW! I think you're smoking something. That makes NO sense.

Oh god I think I just became a furry. Someone please help me.
* pets * its ok, there's a furr in every one, but if you feel the need to cover it he/she you will be rolling around as will more then likely be a bad ass. also, werewolves aren't furrs :3 trapped in there wolfen form or not, there monsters, so you can use that for a cover to ;3 but i won't tell, promiss XD

I wonder how many people who don't like the worgen even actually play WOW, and simply joined the thread to go 'wow is bad'.

As for the furry aspect, we've had rogues clad in full leather since the alpha, yet no-one's claiming WOW is only for gimps. It's just not a big deal, it's another character choice tho I'd say the female looks a little foxlike, not instantly close to the males.

Welp, Glad I play Horde. Not that I dislike Worgen or anything but.... yeah...

And for those of you concerned about their hair, don't fret. I saw some leaked hairstlyes from MMO Champion a while back and they looked really good. And besides, it's still a work in progress.

Honestley, I'm more concerned about when Blizzard sends me the Cataclysm-Beta E-Mail.... If they do anyways... :(

Your false assumptions are false. Not only am I close with many furrs, therian and other kin, I ARE one too. I'm also an animal artist. I know a hell of a lot about canine anatomy and that worgen model doesn't have the right head. It looks too human.

If you are as knowledgeable as you claim then you know full well what the bulk of the furry fandom's artwork and phenotypes look like. Most of them are cartoony canids. I have known a therian baboon and a couple of furry deer. Most of those deer knew little to nothing about their animal and copied others. Oh and skunks, I know a lot of skunks. However I think they're cute so I don't think that follows the non-cute furr argument. Wiki is a shit resource for most things furr and otherkin.

Before you try to use the 'you're ignorant and not one of us argument', make sure that the person isn't one of you.
