Well, if Bungie got together with Blizzard, perhaps they could learn how to better integrate storytelling into their games- they actually do make good plots, but you only find this out after reading the books, partaking in the extended universe obsessively, or looking on the internet to find it out from people who do get into the extended universe.

Honestly, though, I'd love if these two developers could get together to make a game. Bungie's tendancy to make their games very acessable and visually more colorful than their competitors on the market seem like it would go hand-in-hand with Blizzard's accessable and brightly-colored universes.

Ok, I know that Halo had a huge impact as the flagship title of a new, if slightly doomed new console, but saying that it's fully responsible for consoles getting more profitable than PCs is a stretch XD.

It's not fully responsible, but it is a significant factor.

I think you people are all being a bit cynical. They're probably not trying exclusively to win brownie points, although that may be a small part of it; in reality, though, I'm sure that they genuinely would like to support Bungie. Even if it's only for the money. They do, to some extent, have a publishing deal with them, and this is a better way to do that, in my opinion, than bullying them around.

I am 100% against this. Bungie are too greedy, Activision is the king of Greed to a unreal degree, and I do not doubt Blizzard is just as money grubby. I swear those "Robber Barons" of the bast are being reborn...and they are in the gaming buisness.
