The Madden series is good if you only buy a new game every three or so years, because by then all the little inovations they've added usually amount to the price of a new game. Every year is too much, but at the same time, that's how the sports world is. Ever changing, and some people like to keep up to date on it. The series is easily avoidable. Same goes for the Call of Duty series, and Guitar Hero for that matter (though I prefer Rock Band).Cynical skeptic said:Honestly, its really, really hard to see the end of the console shooter's various "madden" series as a bad thing for anyone. These games aren't complex and challenging. They aren't new and innovative. They're just the same shit over and over.Just_A_Glitch said:But the point remains. His bottom line benefits ours. I'm not going to fall in line with some people calling him our savior on this issue, because quite frankly, that sounds too cool for Kotich, but he's trying to preserve our right to play. Even if its for different reasons, we're all still on the same side.barash said:I concur with this bloke/ette, his only concern is the bottom line.thefreeman0001 said:the only reason hes shitting his pants is because if this passed CoD sales would take a massive hit. it'd still be popular but you know bobby and his money.
I still dislike him, but this is a case where we have to side with him. He and the gaming community can continue their war after this issue is settled.
Its just the potential banning of every other game (as not honoring the lord is obscene) that puts me against this law.
Its the censorship in general that puts me off the law. You can't censor something you don't like and expect what you do like to go untouched. Its an all or nothing law. Gotta take the good with the bad.
