I like any piercing on a girl except

I don't think it's 'cute'. Looks more like a silver pimple (to me anyways)

I don't agree with them, but I have no right to stop someone who wants to get a tattoo or piercing.

I will laugh at them if they're stupid, though.

I'm not a fan of them. Tattoos I can live with, but piercings that aren't on the ear or maybe the bellybutton is a bit of a turn off(especially on the nose)

edit: Also those ear stretching things, that's just silly to me.

For me its all about which parts of the body you pierce. Ears, yes. Nose, maybe. anything to do with the mouth, No. the genitals, Over my dead body.

I'm not going to have a go at people who do, but don't even try to talk me into getting one myself

Tattoos are fine so long as they are done carefully. They're semi-permanent (you can get them removed but it hurts and its costly) so careful planning should be done to make sure you are not going to regret it later. for example, a girl friends name on a certain private part of the body; Bad. A quote or symbol or something that relates to an important belief or value to the person getting the tattoo; Good

I would consider getting pierced, because piercings can be taken out if regretted. I wouldn't get pierced on the face though because I just don't find facial piercings that appealing.

Tattoos are a different story. I wouldn't consider getting a tattoo because I may end up regretting it and would have to pay for expensive and painful surgery to remove it. I still think that tatoos can look great on both men and women though.

I don't think it's wrong, OP, but I find it unattractive. But hey, there's guys who find that thing attractive. I just don't like any body modifications at all. Not on me, not on anyone, but I'm not about to go tell somebody they can't do it because I don't like them.

There's this lady who works at this Gamestop I go to who has a lot of ink on her person, complete with a lot of metal on her face, ears, lower lip, disced ear lobes (they were small, though) and has two tongue piercings. And if I were to guess, she has other things pierced as well. Looks good on her.

Basically, aslong as it's not taken too far, I'm all right with body mods, though I'm too cowardly to get the piercings, but I would like to have a tattoo or three.

I had triple zero gauges in both ears, my nipples, and eyebrow at one point I took them all out after college so I could get a proper job.

I like tattoos, as long as they're not over done, i.e. no "sleeves" or ones that cover the entire back.

And I don't care what anyone says, lip and belly button piercings are sexy!

I'm prett neutral towards the whole thing. As a rule though I don't think body modification is as edgy anymore as a lot of people still think it is. No-one cares that you have a tattoo anymore.

After a botched eyebrow piercing I've permanently given up on body modification in any way shape or form. Not worth the hassle, or the money.

Tattoos are fine, but body/facial piercings look like metallic plague boils. I'm not puritanical; it's just a natural human reaction to not be attracted to someone that appears to be suffering from egregious shrapnel wounds. Part of me also can't help but find it slightly juvenile, like the skin-tearing equivalent to a middleschooler dyeing their hair bright pink because they think self-expression means forcing everybody you ever walk past to appreciate your potential for garishness. That's just the impression it gives me, anyway, I still try to evaluate everyone on their own individual merits, regardless of whether they've got bits of silver jabbed through their skin.

I will admit that some girls can really make a snake bite work, though. Especially that one at the bonfire. Unf.

Just like clothes, hairstyles, make-up and colours fit people, the same goes for tattoos.

Just like one person might look like a goddess in a green dress and someone else looks like a hooker in the same dress, some people fit with tattoos/piercings and others do not.

It's that simple. :p

Body modifications can be quite good. Like that woman who got tattoos on her chest to deal with the loss of her breasts to cancer, or a friend of mine who is commemorating the death of his sister-like friend with a tattoo of her initials.
It was just so terrible- she was a nurse, and such a good person. An angry, schizophrenic man waltzed into the hospital and shot her dead.

And on the lighter side, a lot of my Indian friends have very tasteful nose piercings.
The problem is, most people are not tasteful about it and disrespect their body, doing stupid things to it that they regret later. Or they're terribly irresponsible and get tongue piercings that they don't care for, then get serious infections from it.

In my opinion, the natural beauty of a woman doesn't need to be augmented or covered. I assume that's how the other people feel too.
Someone here thinks tha same way I do ..

Meh ...

Just don't wear *large* body ornaments in airports I'm good ... I personally want a large tattoo of a grey wolf sleeping in the snow on my back ^_^

My stance on piercings is as long as it doesn't waste my time o.o given that it's rare that piercings (barring one time at the airport) caused me any fleeting grievances I'm good with them.

I miss my double snake-bite! >_<

but yeah, I love my piercings, and my tattoos. But again, they are removable/coverable if need be, because at this precise moment in time I am but a lowly student and not an award winnign author, and so may have to searc for work in the near future.

I can kinda get people who don't like them, it's all a personal thing, I just hate people who come and flame me for having them. Ok, you don't like them, but it is my body at te end of the day.

Best incident was when I was in Tokyo, my host parents were having a dinner party (which i hadn't been warned about) so I came down to dinner in a vest top, exposing both my tattoos. Which in Japan, is a MASSIVe no-no. Then spent the next our discussing them with 2 artists! ^_^

I'm fine with them but won't be attracted to women who go overboard with it. I plan on getting a few tattoos myself, eventually.
