I recently finished Sourcery by Terry Pratchett. I don't really find the stories in these early Discworld novels (I've read the ones up to Sourcery, in order of when they were published) to be that extremely exciting. I do enjoy reading about the Discworld itself, the interesting world Pratchett has created.
I am now reading Om Gud by Jonas Gardell. It's a Swedish book (I'm from Sweden), and the name literally means "About God". And that's what it is about. Gardell writes about how God came to be the way we see him today, from a basis in the Bible, as well as other historical evidence. It's a great book, and gives important insight for everyone interested in religion, especially Christianity, no matter if you're a Christian or not.
I am later planning to read The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster. It's nice mixing different genres, and I've been wanting to read some crime for a while. And it's considered a modern classic, and classics are always interesting to read. I'm also looking forward to reading the classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, which I got for Christmas. I also want to reread the sci-fi classic the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov, which I read a few years ago. I didn't read it in the right way then though; I didn't appreciate or understand it really. Maybe I was too young then. I also want to read The Myst Reader, the latest Mass Effect novel, the latest The Elder Scrolls novel, and the first book in the Dune series which I haven't read at all. And there are many more books I want to read too, of course. The pile just keeps growing.
