I know the game is about maximizing characters, but I expected a lot more from the fight against the bonus boss. I mean, he was just a normal enemy with one or two special attacks and a lot of health(18 million) I never saw the special attacks since the fight was over in two turns. Some more health and less damage on the boss would have made it a lot more interesting to fight, if only for making it a fight where healing was required, even with multiple level 9999 characters.

While it was easy, you gotta admit
fist fighting the most corrupt Pope of them all was pretty cool

OT, I'd say in Batman Arkham Asylum's Joker fight.

Seriously, all he does is hulk out and send his grunts on you. That's it. I wanted a one on one fist fight, damn it!

How could they have done that? He would have tore batman to pieces.

Why's that? They've always had battles together in comics and it worked before and as I recall, Batman kicked the living shit out of Joker.

The lack of bosses in Bioshock 2 was a disappointment :(
Originally, they only had one Big Sister that you would fight at the very end. Why, oh why didn't they stick with that?

I would say any of the bosses from Prototype. It was insane how hyped up they were by people on the forums talking about how hard it was. On normal difficulty, I barely had a problem with any of them. Now on hard difficulty, I gave up on the very first battle when you first get the claws because it is absolutely impossible. Those, and the final boss in Resident Evil 4. It was super easy and I didn't die once. So Capcom decided to do the opposite and make the final boss for Resident Evil 5 impossible. Not really because of the boss itself being difficult, it's just that my online partners always seemed to have problems with quick-time events and for a Resident Evil game that's pretty crippling.

Did you SEE joker in that fight? There's no way they could have made a boss battle out of that, that didn't involve batman being smashed into a pulp.

Oh I got another one, not so much a let down, so much as a "Holy shit WTF?!?!" moment.

Towards the end of Kingdom Hearts (best game ever IMO) you have to fight a LOT of bosses, I lost count after the first few... I just stopped caring, because I was at my mates and was using his copy of the game because mines just happened to stop working at the Hollow Bastion level.
And then after about 2 hours of attempting the boss fights I complete the game!
I swear to God that if I had been able to at that time (it was at least 4 years ago, when I was 11) I would've jizzed in my pants!

Yeah, in that case, he would have gotten the shit kicked out of him.

I meant that I wanted a one on one fight with normal Joker and Batman.

That would have also ended rather quickly, but thanks for clearing that up.

I was let down by the last boss on FF12. I didn't even do the sidequests and walked all over him.

People keep bringing up Sephiroth. Was FF7 altered in any way since 1998? He was butt-fuckingly hard. I had to eventually get a friend to help, and he had to grind for hours on end. His last form was the only easy one (1 hit kill). Jenova was there to screw you over for when big badass Seph came along and started relentlessly casting his ultimate move at you.

Trance Kuja FF9. Kuja was a badass yet he was so weak at the end. He SHOULD have been much stronger imo, even possibly the final boss, but necron popped his head in and made me read a book to find out wtf he had to do with the game and why he was the final boss I had to fight.
Please tell me the name of that book, because I still don't get it.

Honestly, this is probably my first and most memorable WTF boss moment. I never cared for the final few hours of FF9 for this very reason... it's as if you got to the Northern Crater in FF7 and all of a sudden Sephiroth turned out to have 2 or 3 bosses stronger than him. Never made any sense to me.
Sephiroth actually isn't the strongest boss in FF7. Go look for Emerald Weapon.

And since he didn't block you also have to admit that
grabbing him and kneeing him the crotch was hugely satisfying after all the annoyance he caused you

That said, in Mass Effect 2
I was a little disappointed by the Cthulhu-human-fetus at the end. It was very creepy and everything, but I was expecting a little bit more. I just didn't feel all that satisfied after killing him. Which I guess can be handwaved to an extent since is was a fetus, but, eh, I don't know. Still love the game though.

I have a few: The Murai fight at the end of Ninja Gaiden, I was expecting a hard ass fight then I realized I could spam flying sparrow and he wouldn't block it. I mean come on Alma could block it and that was all the way back in chapter 7.

The Brionic members from Wild arms 4, They set these guys up as an elite fighting force and they all go down in about 3 turns. One of them doesn't even attack you and he took a super serum that was meant to give him a lot of power, all it did was turn him into a pulsating roadblock.

Also as much as it hurts to say this Kefka from FF6, Just spammed Ultimia till he died, some God he is.
