OT: I'm still deciding whether or not to get Brink. I'm going to be preoccupied with LA Noire and inFamous 2, and when I have the time (and money) to buy it, I am going to be way behind everybody else!

I like being the bad guy but it sounds like most of you are going Security so I'll just have to turn the Resistance in the bad guys...

I'm basically in the same boat, I want to play the faction that has the less players, and judging by the Escapist, the smaller faction will be the Resistance, so... works for me, I've pre-ordered the Psycho pack.

So, the title pretty much explains it. Which side will you choose in Brink and why?

I think I'm going to play as the Security guys to start. My friend wants to play for the Resistance. It'll make for interesting online games. I foresee him not speaking to me for a while. XD

I think we quoted each other earlier... as such I do believe I made it clear Im going to be Security.

You can't play both? Fuck, that was annoying in MAG...

Not sure as of yet. I'm tempted to play Resistance because they seem outnumbered and I'd feel like a bad ass, but I'll wait to see which one gets the better guns. Although if you can only pick one, I might end up choosing neither.

They both have access to the same weapons I believe. Just different clothing and weapons skins (Security have sleek and new looking, Resistance having worn and beat-up look.)

Security for me, the resistance is fighting for a "what if" situation.

"WHAT IF" the security is hiding supplies from us. They don't know but they're fighting anyways. The grass isn't always greener.

Me and my friend are doing security for our first playthrough. He was thinking resistance, but I convinced him with the fact that there are way more stories about the rebels and it would be more interesting to play as the security.

2nd play through...Security! Why skip half the game?

Pretty sure the point of the story is that it is morally ambiguous. So to anyone saying you want to be the good guy, well, there isn't one. Which i think is great.
