This is basically my thought. Wonder if they even considered gay/lesbian rapes when making it?bookboy said:Previous national and local campaigns have focussed on women and the risk they put themselves under through alcohol consumption. The emphasis has been on them taking steps to protect themselves. Rather than place the onus on women, we've taken the unique approach of focusing on young men. We want potential offenders to consider their actions, while also raising awareness of acquaintance rape so that women can keep themselves safe.
well, I'm certainly glad to see that the British police are putting all of their efforts into enforcing the stereotype that only women are capable of being rape victims and that men can most certainly not be sexually assaulted by women. [/sarcasm]
Actually, I doubt they did, because that certainly never happens; only heterosexual rapes by men of women ever happen /sarcasm
I hate over-the-top political correctness in all it's forms, and this is one of the worst examples- I wouldn't be surprised if the game also called women "wymmyn" (or "wommon" for singular)...
The idea is certainly a noble one, don't get me wrong, but they will handle it all wrong and it'll flop.
