They're missing some great thrash metal bands; Metallica, Sodom (my favourite band ever), and Pantera. They've made a great list but it doesn't accurately depict all genres of metal (which there is WAY too many of).

I'd complain about no Rhapsody of Fire, but given how their lyrics tend to tell a very specific story (CDs = entire sagas), I can understand their exclusion.
Id have liked some Rhapsody on it. Especially Dawn of Victory, That song would fit perfectly.

Disappointed by the lack of Killswitch Engage, Iron Maiden, Demon Hunter and Pantera but you cant have it all can you?

Still got some very good songs on there from the 80's and now. Might just beat WET as best music soundtrack to a game for me.

EDIT: WHEELS OF STEEL BY SAXON! I freaking love that song. I cant wait to play this game to that song.

Kind of disappointed for the lack of Iron Maiden.

But still an awesome soundtrack none the less.
i am also dissapointed at the lack of iron maiden. maiden pretty much one of the best metal bands ever. (dont kill me)

Blitzkrieg! Blitzkrieg!
Blitzkrieg BOOM!

The presence of Deathstars is pleasant, the lack of Amon Amarth isn't too nice.
Oh well, can't have everything.
i agree with whilst the prensence of deathstars is good, the game does lack a few songs that really should be in it.
i wished they would of included metallica, i thought that ride the lightning would fit perfectly in this game to :(

Me want Corrosion Of Conformity. Wah.
Yes, some CoC would've been killer. "Broken Man" or something similarly nice and heavy.

Some High on Fire would've been sweet. Led Zeppelin and especially The Sword would work really well with the fantasy metal vibe that BL has going on.

Still, it's a bitchin' soundtrack as it is. Sooo much better than so many other games.

That is the single greatest soundtrack I have ever seen. Ever. There will not be one better. They've even got fucking Dethklok!

The only thing I'd add is maybe some Cancer Bats (Hail Destroyer would suit the game perfectly), and some DevilDriver!

A Lack of Metallica (Metal's in the name guys!), Megadeth, and Iron Maiden of Course (You named the main character after their mascot...but they don't get to be in it?)

Other than that, its pretty much a near-perfect soundtrack. Already Downloaded *cough* I mean BOUGHT IN A MUSIC STORE WITH CASH most of the game's soundtrack. I plan to listen to it til I get the game.

Thats a great soundtrack and beyond Metallica and iron maiden i really think Manowar would have been a great addition for this game

Some obvious misses that have been mentioned (Maiden, Amon Amarth) but I still think they did a good job overall.

Way to skip the shitty nu-metal, Brutal Legend.

I am disappointed by the lack of Technical Death Metal. Having some Necrophagist or Gorod in there would have made it an amazing game.

But I am pleased that Coroner got in the game, IMHO, the only good band on there.

Also, no Nu-Metal. Hurrah!

I am just stupidly pleased by the inclusion of 'The Metal' and 'Master Exploder' from the D themselves. If the latter is not the badass end to a badass bossfight, I will be very, very upset. And if the former is not a theme for something else godly... then... then... You Can't Kill The Metal!!!

Still, no Metallica was a bit of a kick to the crotch. Sure, skip some of their less popular stuff, but no 'Master of Puppets'!? No 'Fuel'?!?!?!?!?

Blasphemy.

I would have gone with "One", or "For Whom the Bell Tolls" or "Fade to Black" or even something from Death Magnetic over lamenting the lack of "Fuel".

Well, it's not that bad...

But think of what it could do in the right context! Or even better, get the S&M version of Fuel in there. 'One' doesn't really carry the right themes for the game, although the song still kicks more ass than several of these proposed tracks combined.
