yea come to think of it, it would make awesome video game music. i can't help but make fun of his voice, tho. me and the dudes in my band do it all the time.Ultrajoe said:But think of what it could do in the right context! Or even better, get the S&M version of Fuel in there.300lb. Samoan said:uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhUltrajoe said:no 'Master of Puppets'!? No 'Fuel'?!?!?!?!?
I would have gone with "One", or "For Whom the Bell Tolls" or "Fade to Black" or even something from Death Magnetic over lamenting the lack of "Fuel".
Well, it's not that bad...
GIMME FYOO GIMME FIYA GIMME DAT WICHEYE DISYA
OOOOO YEEHEAA
This too,it would be amazing if bands like Necrophagist,Gorod and Nile were in there as well.GoldenCondor said:I am disappointed by the lack of Technical Death Metal. Having some Necrophagist or Gorod in there would have made it an amazing game.
But I am pleased that Coroner got in the game, IMHO, the only good band on there.
Also, no Nu-Metal. Hurrah!
Meshuggah is so good. Also would have liked to see Anata and Opeth.setvak said:Kyuss or Meshuggah would have been nice. But then again, I doubt I'll play it.
... I think we'd be set at that point.300lb. Samoan said:OK so here's the list so far of missing bands we want in BL2
DevilDriver
Rammstein
Anata
Opeth
Metallica (maybe, I don't see them agreeing to the rights anyway)
Meshuggah
maybe Kyuss (I love the shit out of Kyuss but I'd rather listen to them playing Psychonauts rather than a heavy metal murder fest
Carcass
Skeletonwitch
OverKill
me too, after the soundtrack list was released, i went and "bought" most of these songs and have been listening to them ever sinceatomictoast said:A Lack of Metallica (Metal's in the name guys!), Megadeth, and Iron Maiden of Course (You named the main character after their mascot...but they don't get to be in it?)
Other than that, its pretty much a near-perfect soundtrack. Already Downloaded *cough* I mean BOUGHT IN A MUSIC STORE WITH CASH most of the game's soundtrack. I plan to listen to it til I get the game.
Wild Side would be an awesome addition to this.the protaginist said:I wouldn't have minded "Wild Side" by Motley Crue, but that soundtrack is epic indeed.
"The Metal," was the first song I looked for on that list. Hell, it seems like the whole game is a reference to it.Ultrajoe said:I am just stupidly pleased by the inclusion of 'The Metal' and 'Master Exploder' from the D themselves. If the latter is not the badass end to a badass bossfight, I will be very, very upset. And if the former is not a theme for something else godly... then... then... You Can't Kill The Metal!!!
It is severely lacking in Amon Amarth, as said above. Also, it needs a PC version with WinAMP/VLC plugins.300lb. Samoan said:here is the soundtrack for Brutal Legend, it's pretty damn good BUT the music director states that she wants it to represent all categories of metal and I'm a little peaved that my favorite genre isn't very well represented:
What do you think, metalheads? What's missing from the Brutal Legend soundtrack? Tear it apart now, while they still have time to secure rights!
