Overbearing? Cruel? You just hoped a teenage boy would go KILL himself over a short video, and he's pretty damn small, most likely smaller than you. By your definition of bullying, you're a bully. EDIT: I just noticed that the kid's first answer to the question "Are You Sorry?" was a big, fat "No." before his father gave him the evil eye.
Sounds to me like this kids all "damn, i got bullied back by my victim and now that the video went viral, everyone hates me....eh mom, dad, the other kid started it all, i'm the actual victim!" and mom and dad are instantly on the phone to some reporters.

Not only is this kid a terrible bully, but he's also a terrible liar. Seriously, I guess that body slam hurt his head more than he realized since he no longer has the ability to think up a relevant or even realistically believable excuse for his actions. At least say something like "he tried to touch me in the bathroom!" or some other sensationalistic lie that will sound remotely plausible as a justification for punching him. And then make sure you include the part about how you were having it FILMED as evidence of you defending yourself.
Instead this kid sits there with all the remorse of a freshly bathed cat, concerned only for his reputation, since 90% of the media-savvy world now have seen him getting his ass handed to him in the single most awesome act of retributive justice we've ever seen.
What blows holes in his entire excuse by the way is how the bigger kid walks away after having ended the altercation decisively. He didn't continue to beat on the kid the way I would have... few would have had the restraint to stop at JUST dropping this punk on his head. NO, this kid poked the bear one too many times and got his ass handed to him on a platter with all the trimmings. He's just doing damage control now to ensure he won't be a 30 year old virgin... I mean, excluding the rapes he seems to be frighteningly enthusiastically in support of.

If this was 50 years ago, you know what would happen? The kids would get a stern talking to and maybe suspended for a few days.
Now, with the internet, everybody can become a psychopath without any form of humanity and become no better than the bully! Isn't that wonderful?

Oh goody, more garbage from Today Tonight, without a doubt one of the most appalling shows ever conceived. Seeing that A Current Affair, their longtime rivals for the crown of sensationalist pretensions to journalism, have already covered this story from the side of the bullied kid, the only way they can think of drumming up attention for themselves is to get the other kid on and have him make out that HE was the victim.

As I've said in earlier thread Casey claimed he was tormented by Ritchard and his friends for at least two weeks prior. Yet Today Tonight never asks about that. Seriously, major journalism fail.

Yeah I'm going to choose to not believe the kid that looks as creepy as that one. Also, the person recording was laughing and cheering the bully on while it was being done. I don't know about you but I don't think that's what happens when someone is standing up to a bully.

Why the HELL is this on the news? It's a freaking bully situation in a school. Nobody died, nobody was seriously injured (the short one got a scar on his leg. Big deal.) And, as far as we can tell, this was not a hate crime. Stop making this bigger than this is and just let bygones be bygones. This is stupider than having Charlie Sheens craziness take up a full page in the newspaper. This isn't a news worthy story. It isn't even freaking news!
