They seem pretty anxious to test out new weapons and technology ( they have the best I'll give them that ) and sometimes it seems like they're purposely looking for "trouble".
That's all I wanted to get off my chest right now. I have nothing against USA ( I hope you meant USA , not America , but it's ok you'll learn some day about the difference ).
And I don't agree with the fact that americans are all retarded ( like some said earlier ) . Sure, you see alot of stupid shit there, but stupid people are absolutely everywhere you look. Maybe americans are more exposed by the exagerated media, than others.

Europe is a continent. The European Union is a collective of (relatively)like minded countries that are using collective bargaining as a method to increase geopolitical power by unifying under a central cause in an attempt to become more relevant on a global level. I'm British, and I think America is OK. Sure you've messed up a couple of times, and have done some morally suspect things, but it's not like you've done anything worse than us or any other nation.
Hell, on the whole I'd say America's contribution to human freedom and dignity has been pretty good. Plus, while I don't think your healthcare system is perfect, I don't think ours is either. I'd prefer something somewhere in between our two systems, probably leaning toward yours.

American looking in at America. Its not as bad as people like to make us out to be, though I find everyone who says anything about America being Jerks cause they have so much power in the world ot be rather funny. Cosnidering that any country in the history of the world have been gigantic pricks, just like all of them after will be. You think if China or Britain, or one of the "stable" South Asian/Middle Eastern countries takes over the world they'll be any different? It must be nice to live in fantasy.

I've seen what other Countries' economies are, and they're not very pretty now. I've also seen that IFRS thing the world wants to institute instead of GAAP, and its a joke in comparison to be perfectly honest. Is basically a large gray area and says "we'll leave it up to you to decide." It tries to let the person decide when cash is received and other things and thats just a piss poor way to do business, cause that means you think that your cash is earned when its given and not before you do the service/provide the good required while the other business may not use the same principle. And it only applies to Public companies, not private, so you'd either have ot come up with something else new or still use GAAP (which is all encompassing).Anarchemitis said:

Last thing, man do you guys love your guns! Wont put them things down, will you? Why are you so attached to these things? All it means is more people die over petty things, if somebody is waving a gun in your face and your unarmed, you do what they tell you to do. If you have a gun, you start thinking "I will kill this guy for this $40 in wallet before he kills me", the guy only wants the cash, he has nothing to gain from killing you and neither of your lives is worth $40.
It also means things like columbine are more likely to happen and shoot outs with police happen more, the amount of times I have seen police out gunned is silly! The police have little glocks and the criminals have AK47's, pure craziness.
That links back to the invading thing though.
I am from Russia and the majority of my people does not view America (US that is) with a good eye. Personally I hate the loud mouthed stupid ones. Everyone else seems a-ok to me.

Well, I've never been to America, and I've never met someone from America, so my view is based solely on stuff I've heard or read, and is probably more of a sick stereotype than an actual representation of the nation and its people. And to me, it seems like America is a bigass country,full of fat pricks that use their guns as masturbation fodder, all while thinking that they're some kind of superheroes despite not knowing that Africa is a continent and not a bloody planet the most hypocritical nation ever with the possible exception of a couple of dictatorships and Sweden.

Don't know. Never been there. If I look at reality shows american's have the tendency to piss me off. But I know in general only idiots want to be in a reality tv show so I try not to base my opinion on that.
I would have to go there to see for myself. Which is an idea me and some friends are thinking about. Taking a 3 month vacation and driving from the west coast to the east coast. Stopping where ever we feel like. Sounds like fun.

My view on Americans are that the inhabitants are on the edge of retarded, fat, overly patriotic, gun happy and fanatical Christians.
I know these things generally aren't correct, and I have spoken with several "normal" Americans, but the insecure dogs bark the loudest!
Media is always overblown and often purely fake, but being bombarded with these things your entire life does unfortunetly change your perspective. USA is also a pretty darn big place. If we took all of Europe and added the cuckoo-heads togeather I reckon we'd have the same numbers.
Edit; On seconds thoughts, I don't think we'd have as many crazy people. There's not that much propaganda in Europe.

Our opinion has been going downhill ever since.
Oh and we have a saying "Det er fandme amerikansk" meaning something is large, loud and generally stupid. It's not a compliment guys!

The English view of Americans is one of extreme superiority, but then you could argue that this is our view of everyone. We tend to see you as the wayward son or younger brother. So young, so naive, so truly ignorant of the ways of the world. Blundering around here and there, quite unaware of your own hurculean strength. You do make progress here and there, but learning is at times a difficult and painful process for you. Sometimes you even forget yourself and do things that even we find hard to defend - like voting in George Bush, twice, for example. I could go on further, but you tend to get very defensive when we bring up faults like this.
Yet despite all this, we wish America well, and hope that it matures long before its currently imminent decline leads to be a world ruled by China. This is a world that none of us ever wish to see.

Anyway, every level of our government is incompetent and rotten, no surprise. Schooling is pathetic at best, with college being more of a qualification for a label as a wealthy individual rather then an intellectual. Business is pretty much the same as anywhere, everything is an attempt at scamming your hard earned money, or easily gained money if your one of the government sobs that makes five times the amount your average working man does while doing almost no work at all ~.> Just as many sports addicted morons as anywhere else, and just as ridiculously overpaid, seriously they claim its some sort of "risk" payment seeing how they snap a leg their out of the only job their steroid rage would let them excel at, 'course they could just work for several months to a year and never have to lift a finger again. Wouldn't say theirs any cultural aspect to america other then being a hate the neighbors on each side of you for being asininely overzealous with their homeland cultures / sports team / opinions on things like laws on anything, from pot to abortion, to the extent they should be palming you in the face with painted hands. Same as anywhere else when it comes to the average percentage of IQ having citizens 'cause the few sentient people to slowly go mad from both rage and feeling unsafe to walk down a street without some drunk, druggie, or overzealous fanatic of sports causing you some form of grief.

I like America/U.S in some ways, some other ways i don't. I like that they make really nice bunch of movies, tv-shows and video-games and shizzle.
