I have been to Canada on several occasions, and while having really nice, clean cities and beautiful landscapes is all well and good, there is only ONE reason I go back.

Tim Hortons. They have the BEST. FUCKING. DONUTS. EVER.

Hah well the U.S.A seems to have just as many Dunkin' Donuts as we have Tim Hortons, and honestly I think the donuts are about the same from both.

It is one of the better places to live. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but I also don't really think you should talk about any country like this. Debating an issue is alright, but opening up a thread for people to start bashing someones homeland is a bad idea.
What would anyone have to bash Canada aboot?

You know how some people are. They just go on the little things they know about a country to form a negative opinion. "Americans are fat, too patriotic, and ignorant.", "Brits are inbred, pale, Monarchy-loving, racists.", "Canadians are unimportant, igloo-living, hockey-loving, sheep with no culture.". Sound familiar yet? I even met one jagoff from Alaska who went on that "the whole country is frozen" shtick.
I'm Canadian by birth and I have atually been asked if it's hard to build an igloo in the summer

It's ridiculous. If I find out someone is Chinese, I don't ask how it is living in a Pagoda. If you're curious about a culture, just ask. The worst thing that can happen is someone saying "no".

There have been 500 Canadian threads, and I keep saying Jones Soda Green Apple flavor is the second best thing to come from Canada.
as much as we would like to take credit for that soda company, Jones Soda is an American company

S'pretty good. As a Canadian, I give it three toques, four inuits and a hockey stick up! :D haaaa.

Aside from that.. Nickelback, Celine Dion and Bryan Adams can dive into a woodchipper. Barenaked Ladies, not so much <3

You don't really hear about Canada that much these days.
Or ever. We don't do much, we just sit around and try to fix our own problems. On top of this, people often don't see the difference between us and the U.S.A.

we are responsible for Nickelback tho..... so we aren't all good
While we are responsible for that, our brothers to the south are responsible for Brokencyde.

OT: I love living here, wouldn't move anywhere else.

Ooh now that's an insult
It is. That hurts.
I don't know, I think Americans have an unjustly bad name. Or we have an unjustly good name, one of the two. We're not completely different after all.

Meh. I'm just used to you guys having a bad name up here, so I'm just used to responding like that. It wouldn't really bother me all that much to live in America. Except I like it up here.

Exactley, I mean I haven't been in much of the U.S but in the time that I visited Boston, I really enjoyed it. It's a really nice city that actualyl reminded me of Canada in many ways. That being said, maybe it's not quite as nice everywhere else in America, I wouldn't know.
