I like Canada. You have Bioware, and are ruled by Zorak the Invincible. Or at least thats what I heard from a Canadian comedian on British TV.

Canada is a country? I thought that it was America's hat. Does that mean that Yahtzee's hat is a country?
Didn't you hear? Hats are considered countries now.

Anyway, the only knowledge I have of Canada comes from South park, which is to blame Canada.

Yeah, I live in London, and it isn't that great. I've been to Ottawa before, though. I think it's a nice place. I especially like Byward Market. I wish I could have gotten a Beaver Tail when I was there. I hear they are a really tasty treat similar, yet better, to the Elephant Ear. That true?
geez you people need to get out, ontario is freaking awesome place to go and tons of cool stuff, go to algonquin park for a day or two and then say how crappy the province is
My grandfather's ashes are in Algonquin Park. He went there a lot and donated a lot of money for the upkeep of the park and asked for us to scatter his ashes there. There's a memorial in honour of him there.

I'm not even sure where to start with that.

Ontario is "nice" but it's not very interesting. Toronto is maybe an exception. Living it Ottawa is pretty boring I must say. Although we do have Bluesfest, which is fucking awesome.

Admit it. It has one badass army.

On a more serious note, I like them. They haven't done anything bad, have they?

Guys, really Canada isn't that cold...Unless you live in the territories. I like it here, Alberta has good beef, Edmonton has a indoor waterpark and an indoor amusement park, one of the largest malls in the world, Vancouver is a really cool place to, fishing in the Pacific is beast.

I have never met a Canadian I did not like.

I rather enjoy my rather infrequent trips to Canada. Its a beautiful place to visit. I don't know much about Canada specifically though. I can't say that I have spent enough time there to really become familure with it or the people that live there.

Hey, think about it. Only a couple thousand people defending a country this big? You know they gotta be some bad-ass motherfuckers!

And to fuel such bad-ass fellows, what better than good ol' Canadian beer?

This thread is seriously making me consider moving...

Hahahahah! Bazing!

I already knew that but whatever.

Edit: They wanted the Canadian military to be the stormtroopers in Iraq, but he's busy.

To be honest, I've considered moving to Canada. I utterly hate this country, particularly the mindset of the people. It'd kinda either there or New Zealand. I've been to Canada and everyone seemed nice, plus I seemed to be considered attractive. Win win
It all depends on where you plan on moving to.

Unless you speak French, don't EVER move to Quebec, their government (less so now with Charest) actively tries to make the province 100% unilingual Francophones.

Toronto, forget about it, you might as well stay where you are, it's violent and has the reputation of being full of jerks. Yes, statistically speaking it does have less crime than other cities of its size, but it's municipal government makes up for that by being very pretentious. If you want to see how many things the word 'culture' can be a euphanism for, go to Toronto.

Anywhere else in Ontario is boring (including where I live, Ottawa).

The Atlantic provinces are pretty poor, but the lobster is cheap and they are fairly accepting of Anglophones and Francophones alike.

Forget the Praries, anything interesting already has.

Alberta is like the Canadian Texas, they dislike gays and are rich with oil (Alberta actually has more oil than Saudi Arabia, but it is in the form of Tar).

British Columbia isn't bad, it's a little bit like your California, but slightly less smug. It is full of drugs, drug violence and gangs though.

And as for the Arctic, you'd increase their population noticably if you moved there.

Anyway, I gues s that sums up my impression of the true North strong and Free.
I agree with MOST of the stuff you said, the one thing I'd like to add is that there is one other city in Ontario that isn't mind-numbingly boring: Windsor, we are close enough to Detroit so you can just hop on over to the states if you get to bored here. We have a pretty good music scene, (lots of local bands, this one is my favourite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imfjUrbsy-w) and we have the Windsor Spitfires reigning Memorial Cup champions. GO SPITS!

Does not compute... Are you saying you have cousins as a direct result of Canada's natural beauty?

Canada seems to be pretty cool, its what America used to be... You know before it changed.
It changed? (Sorry, I couldn't resist). It's a great country. I love how I can use both languages that i've learned since childhood. (French and english).
you can't use both languages in most of Canada people will yell at you and give you the finger if you speak English in Quebec the rest of canada doesn't know how to speak French ( i live in Quebec)
