I actually never got to play Code:Veronica, so Fuck Yes, Capcom!

Oh and while we're on the revival bus, Capcom.
Okami (you don't even have to tweak the graphics that much.

Code Veronica and RE3 are the only ones I haven't played from the main timeline. I have REmake, Zero and 4 for Gamecube, 5 for PS3. I don't own RE2 anymore, but I could always get it on PSN. I'd rather have an HD remake though.

Despite already owning RE4 on a (pseudo)current gen console (Wii), I will shamelessly admit I would buy it again on the PS3 with an HD upgrade. Love that game.

Screw this crap!

Give me a HD remake of Resident evil outbreak, and outbreak file 2, that has online, with improved A.I, and loading times.

Only Then i might sway forty of my pounds into your pocket Capcom.

so is resi4 gonna look like my pc version with its high res hd mod packages?
I imagine so, yea. Despite it being magnificent after completing the game on three different consoles I think I've had my fill of Resi 4.

Getting this, hopefully we're looking at another £20 - £25 collection like GoW and Sly, but if its a full price title, it'll have to be put on the back-burner as one to watch until it's hits discounted level. I'm not going in £40 for 2 games I can get for under £10 normally is all I'm getting at.

Otherwise, definitely a purchase for me, it'll be one hell of a weekend.
Kidding right?
This is Capcom we're talking about here.
Not only will bare bones RE4 be $60 but the "Separate" plotline and Merc mode will both be $15 to unlock... even though they're both on the disc.

Yay, Code Veronica ^_^ I do find it a bit odd that they chose the Dreamcast version, but I never played the Dreamcast version so I guess this is my chance to. I am a tad bit confused why people keep mentioning that the older Resident Evil games were about survival and ammo conservation. The only Resident Evil game you had to conserve ammo or health items was Resident Evil 1, or the REmake. Everything past that, the games practically threw ammo at you. At least, everytime I go through 2 or 3, I always ended the game with a mountain of ammo and healing items. Especially 3.

That is truly awesome.

Capcom, how about instead of re-releasing Resident Evil 4 AGAIN, you move forward with the story. I still want to know who Ada was working for, and more importantly where she went. She's really the only mystery left in Resident Evil. That, and where Jenny is. I think her name was Jenny away. I can't remember.

All that being said, I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy this. Again.

Years ago I prayed that Shakira and Beyonce would star in a music video together, and it happened.

Recently I wished for a next-gen remake of RE4, and now it's coming true too! (Uncharted 2, youve been replaced)!

This means that...I'm a friggin' coincidence magnet!

EDIT: So does this mean there will be trophies/achievements?

Does it have Wii Remote-esque pointer functionality? Then I'm not interested.

This is probably the most biased you'll ever find me being, but I probably could never play that game again without pointer controls. It actually made the game "perfect" in my eyes.

Code Veronica will probably be worth getting.
RE4 I wouldn't download if they paid ME for it.

I wish they just got rid of those "GameCube" consoles in the Remake, and port THAT to the PS360. That's the last Resident Evil game to come out that's worth playing.

Resident Evil 4, great game and it is worthy of a revamp to the current gen consoles.

Now can we get RE2 set as well?

I had Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, and got it again for the Gamecube. I also picked up the Collectors Ed of RE4 on the GC. While I enjoyed both games, I'm not interested in playing them again with shinier graphics.

RE2 HD remake would be a must buy though.

If they do only one thing for RE4 above and beyond the HD, please let it be the dual stick control from 5

I can see why Code Veronica seeing as it was only released on the Dreamcast and GC (there might have been an x box version but I do not remember there being one) but not RE4 as much. Also they DID make a remake of RE1 for the GC but I could see the advantages of them releasing 1,2,3 and possibly 0 as well but that would take more then one or two CDs. Nice to see Capcom not completely giving up on the survival horror in exchange for what they are doing with 4 and 5.
