I'm a little upset that it took 6 pages for someone to bring this up.

Also, I can't help but think that the first part of that episode is exactly how things are gonna play out for the OP. Although I suppose the second part could happen too

It depends on what part of the world they live in. Though a guy tried to name his child Facebook and another Like after the Facebook button.

I'd say Mithos Yggdrasill. Sounds awesome. If I were ballsy enough that would be something I would consider changing my name to.

Also, why do people feel the need to try and change his mind? It's not your name he's changing.

Well, for first names I like the look/sound of Siefer or Mithos. For last names, Cruxis, Almasy and Kaiba all seem good. So I'd say go for Siefer Almasy. Second vote would go for Siefer Cruxis if I can do that.

OT: Legato Kaiba sounds alright. To be honest all the first and last names seem to clash quite a bit.

Have you considered keeping your old last name, after all, it's the one thing that gets passed down a family line for years and years (If you have kids and they have kids and so on.) but then again, I don't know your family situation. Just do what makes you happy, ignore all the negative posters here. I bet a good chunk of them wishes they had the guts to change their name to something they really like.

At least change it to Max Power. Is as ridiculous as some of the ones you mention, but most likely to pass as a real name.

Farcry 3 Blood Dragon went with it as the main characters name, first thing I thought of was that Simpsons episode.

I vote Seifer. Names that begin with a title tend not to be very successful, and Seifer is probably the only one on that list that is a passable real name in my opinion.

i would say don't change your name, it will come back at you, even if you don't foresee it. but if you'll still going to change it, i choose 3 or 5. the others would stick out too much and wouldn't be that great as a name. fuck, you could name yourself cloud strife and have a better name.

They both kind of sound like names and if questioned on them you could always just pull the "my parents are dyslexic/some crazy language ... like Yiddish" card.

Also might want to consider the implications of a name such as those, "I now pronounce you Mr and Miss's Vegeta" and nobody will be able to pronounce "yggdrasill". Doing it for teh lolz or YOLO could make things a ***** for a couple of months.

I would stay away from the first two if I were you. Having a title as your first name would strike me as odd. But whatever floats your boat. The last three seem reasonably cool. They don't mean anything to me whatsoever, but the third and fourth ones seem pretty cool. No clue how to pronounce the fifth one (even after your post right above this one).
So go for it, like you said, you can change it back if it doesn't work out.

I have the symbol of the Illidari - the green symbol you see on the flags at the Black Temple - on my right bicep, and the Thieves Guild diamond symbol on my spine, between my shoulderblades. I must say I'm impressed by your Forsaken crest; I'd love to see it.
I like my tattoos more subtle, so I'd not get such an elaborate design done. Maybe a tattered Lordaeron crest.

Even if you do change your name back later on, if a potential employer does a background check on you and sees that you have changed your name twice, that is not going to be interpreted as a positive thing in any way.
